This could be really useful if your project has unlock codes or cheat codes!
Yeah but if you want specifically the input code to be hidden you’d have to do some more coding, you may have to find specifically the blocks attached to your input code and change their shadow to true.

Also a tech guy tip (This might be more time taking but it applies to all the Windows versions above XP/Vista): Go to file explorer options (in the file explorer) > Go to the View tab > Uncheck Hide file extensions for known file types. Note that this applies to all the versions of Windows above XP/Vista
also changing the extension is not required at all as the project is just a compressed file/packed file. like if you use 7-Zip, You can just open as archive without changing the extension
oh yes, You do not need Win-Rar/7-Zip to open a zip file. Windows can do it for you.
I recommend 7-Zip tho

Scratch should honestly have a feature to hide your code. It’s cool for inspiration and understanding how to do something, but sometimes you want your magic key to yourself.

Lol that's basically the Scratch Team when they ban people
That's such a bad take, Scratch is supposed to be an easy entry into programming and as such making all code open source will help everyone who wants to learn, if you could keep your "secrets" to yourself you'd just be doing a disservice to the whole community, the whole point is *learning* and if you can do something cool then let others learn from you in turn, giving back seems only fair.
I know another method that is all in the Scratch editor. It uses bugs related to the character used for the invalid hat block. Add the glitched control character as a broadcast and place a block to run it anywhere in the background. Now all code is permanently invisible.
This reminded me of those 2.0 projects.. I wish they still worked, their code hid and they either run (and the ones in this case that I found are broken anyway) or don’t run.

anyways, if you load that in scratch app and scratch bugged, that's normal. to fix it, just open another scratch by clicking scratch icon with mouse scroll wheel from your pin bar (Bottom of your computer)

Yeah reverse order to get it back
Easy way: Search %15 on scratch search bar, copy the square symbol, make a new variable, paste the square thingy in the name, click into another sprite, click back into the one where you made the variable and Boom, there we go!

Just search "volume slider" and turn it on. I don't remember if it was Scratch Addons or Scratch Tools add-on, so check in both.

You should be able to turn off remixing/hide every single sprite, code block and costume. Sometimes you might not want your projects to be remixed. This could also stop people from stealing your project.
I mean....not really cuz scratch ain't commercial, and your games aren't YOURS LEGALLY so...yeah

another way to make sure nobody steals your code without credit: do literally nothing, the scratch TOS states that it is not allowed to share your content without giving credit

This kind of ruins the point of scratch and is just a rude thing to do.
That would've been the case if people didn't steal projects. This will do more good than bad, by preventing stealing of projects.
Also, I don't think hiding the source code of your creation is "rude".
