Is it permissible to listen to music?
This depends on the instrument which is being listened to. If it is an instrument that the sacred texts forbid, such as the mizmar (a flute that has a reed) then it is impermissible to listen to it. If it is an instrument that is not prohibited, such as a daff (tambourine) or a nayy (hollow flute) then it is permissible, although there is a difference of opinion amongst the scholars regarding the nayy.

What can you and I do for Gaza?
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stated: *“Whosoever of you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; and if he is not able to do so, then [let him change it] with his tongue; and if he is not able to do so, then with his heart - and that is the weakest of faith.”*
We need the armies. Only an army removes an army. The Muslim armies are already trained and ready to fight. That's the _change by the hand._ They have the ability and responsibility to do this.
All that stops them is their rotton leadership.
So this is where the command for us comes in *"....change by the tongue..."*. i.e. we call upon, talk to, convince the officers in the armies to overthrow their regimes and leadership.
The solution to Gaza being military intervention is clear.
I believe Allah swt will account is for doing less. Some say we need to increase our Taqwa and Iman but this cannot happen if we ain't doing what's required.
Eg if my children are starving or dying and I'm on the prayer mat at fajr in the mosque and neglecting my obligations then this isn't taqwa or increasing my iman. We are obliged to do actions that help and are relevant to the situation.
Yaa Rabb. Those who are near to Allah are not fooled by trappings of power and false narrativex
