I love the snow cabin but i hate how the snow still shows on everything inside... the devs need to fix it where the snow goes away with house buff... nice builds bro
2nd spot was my favourite. Nice medium build, very practical and leaving lots of room for storage and dinos. Not a big fan of metal builds one no. 1 was nice but a little spread out for my liking. They are all still great builds and I love the Christmas ones in the snow.
They definitely need to add more building pieces, Specifically new roof pieces I have found that if you have a base that has the triangle pieces connected to the square pieces, you cannot build slanted roofs between the two that are actually connected You have to make an entire ceiling that is connected to only square pieces or only circle pieces, because of the two interconnect you will have gaps in your slanted roof ceilings. They also need to take a page out of Conan exiles book and create hardwood basically wood with the same strength as stone or metal and they can even do it the same way you do it in Conan exiles by requiring both wood and resin since resin is an actual thing in the game now. And it would look just like the current what does but with some minor changes to distinguish it like maybe it being a bit redder or darker or something maybe more redwoods themed. Because even in PVE if you build a base out of wood because it looks nice any random Dino can just come along and knock that over.
You're so right, woods my favourite building material and the fact that it's easily destroyed and also doesn't have as bigger decay timer as say metal and stone really sucks! If they made a hardwood variant it would make a ton of sense 🤩🤩 I wish you worked with the Dev team 😆

My dingy thatch huts turned less dingy after applying some of your techniques. I’m on a mission to gather the resources for your cabin build. Already died to a tickle chicken in the process. But we march forward! 😭😂

I literally started recording a survival series and I had the same problem with a tickle chicken 😭😭 murdered me and my first tame in seconds after it walked over my hut.

I loved them all but Cliff Top has a lighthouse look I love. Though my grandkids fave is the Santa work shop. Though I'm going to try the steam punk base for my next build

Can I make a request for a zoo-type or Noah's-ark-type build? I've always wanted to have a huge house on the water so I can have 2 of every type. Based on the builds I've seen you do so far, I think you'd do a fantastic job!
this would need to be a massive build to fit all the animals on XD, i'll have to think of a design at some point and see if it's feasable to do, maybe with mid-sized tames XD we'll see!

This is great .. still playing ASE on XSX and it looks great. Will be getting ascended soon! One of my challenges is how to get foundations to actually be on one flat level. Wherever I build, I end up burying the foundation bricks into the incline of the hill. How do you manage such a flat foundation surface? Thanks!
this happened to me when i was a noob. playing official, i spent a **week** building a nice base, took a break from ark only to come back and find everything gone. I was devastated, haven’t played online since lol.
@taylortouma4122 yeah it's so rough when that happens, it used to happen to me in the olden days on official evolved. I used to have to time logging in just for a few minutes every 7 days to keep my base 😂

Amazing builds man. So far the cliff base, steam punk, and castle ones are awesome lol. I think it would be awesome if you had some sort of mansion with a library with a secret entrance to a laboratory lol. An maybe some sort of pyramid base lol just some ideas.

These buildings are amazing I wish I had the time and the patience to do all this but every time I get a building up I want to go taming so I never get something as big and glorious as any of these
I love ark, but I hope they polish the cosmetic aspect of building. From a distance and on the surface buildings look great, but the options to us for smaller details are lacking 😔

It's very difficult to not do that! I think the best thing to do is build ontop of pillars with ceiling tiles if you want it all completely flat :D
