I use to have the generation 2 pin set. I got them at BotCon 99. I also bought a Generation 1 pin set too. I worked at Hard Rock Cafe then so I wore the G1 pin set on the lapels of my work shirt. I had an Autobot on one side and a Decepticon on the other side . I also wore a Misfits pin on my shirt as well but all the other pins I wore were work related because that was kind of their thing. The Transformer pins got more conversation started than any of the others I wore. People asked if we sold them in our shop quite often.
Wow...the uk g2 annual. I got some of that reprinted in the definitive g1 collection - which collected the American comic over 2 hardcovers and they reprinted some extra stuff
Yeah the annual is a hard piece to find in good condition. I got very lucky on mine. I am still trying to get the 5 uk issues of g2 and some coloring books.
Hey i have joined in on some Aaron Archer live streams. Im the one who brings up g2. I have asked a few times to do a Livestream on the g2 era but dont think he is interested
I should start a podcast someday about this subject and other underrated toy lines also. I did an interview with Aaron years back at a tfcon. He is a nice guy.
