Hi there Osirus. My recommendations depend on where you live. What general location in the world will you be growing? Are you growing in-ground or in a pot?
@@CucumberShop 30-40 litre pots, zone 8a in england, last few years its been pretty wet in summer so a good amount of mildew on unresistant cuces. haha drought tolerant for pots and mildew resistance for rain, thats a lot to ask for
A pot in a wet cool climate. 🤔 Regular cucumbers would perform better in those conditions. Most cucumber-melons prefer hot and dry, but the Timun Krai from Indonesia can do hot and humid. Have you ever tried Cucumis anguria? I have some smoother less intimidating strains.
@@CucumberShop no never tried anguria, looks pretty crazy. We grow cucamelons every year and they do well. Thanks for the advice! Perhaps the search for the perfect cucumber continues then.
@@OsirusHandle If you can grow in a hothouse or under something that can keep the plants warm and dry, I have a couple cucumber-melon varieties that are parthenocarpic.
more stackable maybe 😂
came here thinking about growing a melon cuce next year. any you can recommend? i like long sweet cucumbers.
