  • Artist Roberto Lugo reimagined the High’s iconic Century Vase (1876), currently on view in the American art galleries, as a contemporary work with regional associations. Using a similar form and motifs to those of the Century Vase, Lugo chose important people and moments in Atlanta’s history to spur conversations among viewers. The figures of Martin Luther King Jr., Jimmy Carter, and André 3000 represent Atlanta’s roles in civil rights, social justice, and popular culture, respectively.

Sorry but this exhibit doesn't hold much interest to me.
