We absolutely love it so far! We were a bit reluctant at first because we love the torque of the 650 but it hasn't been an issue at all and we love the light weight. Hopefully the new year will bring an early Spring! 😃 We'll get wrenching on the bikes and should be time to ride in no time!
My uncle used to have one that I rode around on the farm, brings back memories. We're looking forward to the simplicity of upcoming adventures 😎 Merry Christmas to you as well!
It was a fun winter day :) We'd prefer to avoid winter in general, the weather on your side of the world looks much more inviting! Hope you're enjoying the holidays!
I have an Xt 250, they're great fun you just need to stay off the highway. We don't get much snow in Australia but I'm keen to take the xt out the next time we get some. Thanks for the video !!!
Nice! The light weight makes it so enjoyable offroad. Yesterday we were watching a riding video on the south coast of NSW, beautiful part of the world - wish we could teleport there right now! Maybe we could arrange a house exchange 😉
Lol thought about it but we're still waiting on our tire order! Sledding always brings back memories of my GT racer back in the day. Jumping the lip from the plow at the bottom of the hill onto the road...sometimes I wonder how we're still around 🤣 Merry Christmas!
I instantly thought of track master II tires with studs I would have had plenty of traction then! We just got the bikes so we'll get to know them better soon. Thanks
@@Sum4Seb you got 2 XT's ? My wife and I picked up 2 of them this year. Super fun bikes ! I tried a 14T on my wife's just to help crawl around and it do so that but killed what little top end it had. We find with stock gearing we're riding these little bikes pretty much the same as our DR650's. They're great for exploring!
@@sonnys8535 Possibly...😏 That's funny you say that. Good choice! On the XT you saw in the snow I had tried a 16T and it didn't ride the same. Her bike rode better stock. Didn't gain much top end and it lost it's torquey-ness. Went back to stock and loving it that way, perfect for exploration and enough for low speed maneuvers. Stock gearing is also getting the best fuel mileage, the 16T increased my fuel consumption.
Absolutely all Yamaha XT bikes are good, fun and reliable bikes. You have so much snow in your area, amazing!
Feliz 2025.🎉
One of the best 250s out there. 250s are super fun. Keep that forever stoked kiddos. Hope you had a good Christmas. Enjoy your New Year.

Way back when I used to ride my 175 Kawi on the snowmobile trails, it was great fun and work out at the same time. Merry Xmas !!!!

Knobby time ! A 14T front sprocket doesn't hurt either
