sleep is a death sentance in certain situations. Doom for example gets deleted whiteout his movement so a sleep can delete a tank just as well as a discord widow hs.

@@chazza2656 yes except you only get deleted if you just dive by yourself. doom doesn’t have any sort of selfish utility like winston to protect himself. sure power block can protect him to an extent but without much support doom just gets evaporated. that’s a punish. now let’s say you go in with a tracer or sombra. now the back line has much more to worry about than just doom.

@smort try playing tank against a zen who sits in the back line perma-discording me, I'm glad you're able to counter him, that doesn't mean that having -25% health for existing is a good game play dynamic, I actually want zen to have his movement kick from the April fools event, the only problem I have with him is discord orb, although I don't know how they would change it to make it less boring to play against so just rework him

This might be a cursed thought but I've always thought that moira should be the anti heal hero. Lower her dmg to comical levels and make her value timely short duration antis. And then give ana some kinda defensive ability and a passive that gives her fuckin ultra instinct while ads.

The ana buff idea had me thinking... if they nerfed anti-nade to 50% reduced healing.. and anti-nade increases friendly healing by 50%.. would they just cancel each other out? Like if your tank gets hit with anti but then you hit him with nade would it just be normal healing????? 🤔
no because anti overrides friendly nade effects
no it wouldnt negate it, it would reduce the debuff by 25%. so it would be 25% less healing rather than cancel each other out

not saying anti nade isn't problematic (almost the entirety of ana's kit is problematic because she's clearly overloaded and her design wasn't thought out well at all) but I mean I don't get how ana having amazing healing, really decent damage, self burst heal, anti heal, damage buffing and mitigation, burst heal for allies and both projectile and hitscan shots got to keep her *LONG RANGE* hard cc when brigitta for example got hers removed even though it's easier to position against it since it's melee and brig has always had a more streamline kit which has clear counterplay.
She is a dive conunter (kinda brawler but not that great in brawl) and she doesn't have almost any mobility aside from the fact she heals way less and it takes her way more than ana's 3 left clicks to kill a dps.
So me, as someone who plays every healer and I honestly like playing ana more than brig, I don't understand how it's fair that brig's melee hard cc got taken away when it was crucial to her identity but ana's sleep dart is still a thing, it should just not exist, she has a lot of stuff going on in her kit, and maybe removing one or some of them would let the overwatch team buff her without fear of her dominating the meta for another couple of years
Honestly feels like most of the abilities of lifegiver are something that sym should have had lorewise and in her support role pre all the reworks, her whole stick is building shit outta thin air with light like her little microwave turrets and teleporter. But instead of giving her more things to build that are actually interesting structures that couldnt really be made with physical things they just make a new character and give him the abilities, I like part of his kit it just feels like the other half shouldve been added to symm
Except Symmetra isn't the only person in the world of Overwatch who can do stuff like this. That's been in the lore forever. They have different expressions of the same concept, just like Genji, Hanzo and Kiriko all have spirit powers.
