So, what is a “commitment” really worth anyway? If I’m a recruit, I’d name my top choices and leave it at that until I’m ready to sign. The other schools on my list will know that if I didn’t choose them during recruitment, I can always transfer after one year. It’s getting to a point where schools will not stop recruiting a player, either overly or covertly, even after that player is enrolled at another school.
Who knows what this kid and his family ultimately decide. What we know is that as much as he says he's committed to USC, if it was set in stone, he wouldn't still be taking visits. Until he starts turning down convos with schools other than USC, there's still hope for CU.

If you listen, he didn't even quite know where CU was going to be playing and eventhough his father has a relationship, the Big10/SEC have not been the muscle of college football for quite a bit. And the BIG12 has this position to be like the Pac12 last year which was a great conference and had the best QB competition in college football with all they had but even if he doesn't think that is going to come to fruition or be a conference that can compete not just with the others in the CFP but take quite a few of the top spots if it unfolds like many think and there's a surprise by CU which most of us think will happen. Also, in a recent video on Well Off it was said by Prime that as they were leaving the new lounge area for special guests during games, he was asked how the next coach is going to feel in a year or two having all this nice stuff and Prime almost immediately interjected with "I still got 10 in me. Yeah...I got at least another 10 in me..." insinuating that his plans are to remain in Colorado for around 10 years as you can't just pack up a Lounge. Lol.
