Ok, a few questions below....I hope not too much but you are great with responses and helpful information...
If I have a personal account I set up some time ago with just my name does this mean I can't change the username to my business name when setting up the business account?
Also, if I were to do this for someone else's business I wondered how I would go about that...initially setting it up using their email address or phone number or my own then giving them access to it later? And how would i go about doing that part? Is there a way to add someone on to give them ownership after doing this for someone? Thank you!

Yes you sure can change the info in your account and turn this into a business account.
Yes you can set it up and then pass on the account. We typically get the client to create an account and then we get access to the account to help set it up. But you can do this both ways.

Hi! Before I start creating my business instagram account, do I have to log out from my personal account? On my iphone, I went to settings, then I see two options here. 1. “Add account” and 2. “Log out”. I don’t want my personal and my business account to be related. If I click on add account (to create my business instagram) would my clients see that both account are connected to one and another? I want them to be completely separate but still have the option to interact with both from my phone… I am not sure what to do. No videos are available online on the subject. Thank you for your help

They will not be related if you create a new account. You can add a new account or convert your existing account.

Hi, I already have a personal acct. I have added a business account to this. I’m now opening up a new brick and mortar shop with two other people. If I add this business to my personal will they have access to it without me having to give them my personal password? Or if I set up a completely new account under our business will I need to be signing in and out of both businesses. I hope this makes sense. Thank you for any assistance you can give me.

You will need to create a seperate IG business account. Then your team can access that one account for your business.

You should be able to find it down the bottom of your page.

You wont be able to. Unless you link to a landing page with you links. You cab use a tool like Linktree.

I logged out of my Instagram account to create a new one. When they send the confirmation code and I input it, it says the code isn't valid and I can request a new one, but it only offers "resend confirmation code." Hitting "next" just brings up the same stuff and I can't move forward. Any suggestions?

They can do this if they are connected to your Business manager and your Business page is connected to your IG account. They will be able to manage across both through the Meta Business Suite.

Today I deleted my Instagram and Facebook apps. I have found the customer service #facebook #instagram no existing. someone hacked my Instagram business account. I write #instagram 55 times in the last 2 months for help to get back into my account. i have not received same. I conclude it's pointless have a social media account, if you are hacked no one at Instagram to help you get back in. I believe #meta has the worst customer service.
