I’ve experienced this before boxing gym and a kickboxing gym 😂 my first time in a boxing gym was a lil intimidating at first because you see all these guys shadow boxing perfectly then when you start doing it for the first time you feel a lil silly doing it yourself infront of a mirror (I remember being paranoid af😂)but the form comes in time.
I wanna say I’m the Mike Tyson wannabe because I use the peekaboo guard, but if the fight makes it past the first 3 rounds I eventually start swinging like the brawler 😂

Once met a muay thai fighter in my boxing gym. I've never been more embarassed in a spar match in my entire life. I was being absolutely humiliated. The dude didn't come anymore after that, so i assume he actually was at the wrong gym. Either that or he just wanted to see how good boxers are.
@@Andrewtatesbutt That depends and is a big if. If the Thai Fighter was only using Punches sure I could see that. But if he's using all the Weapons at his disposal. Any High End Thai Fighter would cream most boxers if not early on then through Stamina Attrition if they have a good Diet and Regimen. Even if the Boxer is also High Caliber and a Hard Puncher. He should still have a hard time putting him down. And the Thai has Multiple Options. He can chop him down with Leg Kicks. Boxers may have strong legs but they don't condition the Shin at all unless they Cross Train Like I do. He can Teep at anytime so Infighting is near impossible for longer then a Couple of Seconds. And with all Four Limbs the Clench will Mess Up any Boxer only using his Fists Unless he's a High Level Clench and Infighter which is rare as a Rocking Horse Shit Nowadays. The Knee's in the Clench will take Away the Leg Power and Footwork of an Outboxer. And the Elbows will Disorient and Cut them Up possibly getting Blood in Their Eyes taking away at least one. And that all together is just being Light on the Options. Once I added these techniques to my Arsenal if it was a Brawl with all tools allowed I find the Peekaboo Muay Thai Combo I use would be pretty hard to Defeat. Especially since I mix in High Guard, Long Guard, Diamond Guard, Triangle Guard, Cross Guard, Philly Shell, Etc. If the Fighter was that Far Along Anything Short of a Smash or Gazelle type punch isn't getting through that Defensive Game if Proper Spacing is kept. Using this Combination with Very Little Formal Training anything Short of a Top 10 in class Boxer is stopping that. And even then if done well it's a toss up in Favor of Kickboxing. And that's not considering other Kickboxing Techniques like Burmese Kickboxing/Lethwei Headbutts, Savate or French Kickboxing High Kicks. There's a lot of Kickboxing techniques that Boxers are Highly Vulnerable to do to Level Changing Headmovement. I'd genuinely like to see you try to Fight Any Form of Kickboxer even just ones using Punches and Kicks.
