Barstool put 10x more effort in to building the Mean Girls brand than any other podcast at the company, even when they just refused to show up to work for months. Any semi-attractive young chick with a "yass girl" podcast gets the full support of the social team with hundreds of posted and retweeted by every Barstool social daily. Meanwhile an actually GOOD podcast like Macrodosing gets clips posted once a month but somehow they manage to consistently go viral regardless because good content speaks for itself
