R.I.P. ranger and hilux. Filipinos dont use their pickups like Australians do. Maxado binibaby pickups dito pang city2 lang business2 kono then marumihan lang konti car wash agad. In Australia this pickup had endured beatings equivalent to 10yrs of Filipino pickup ownership in less than a year yet it held pretty well. In the Philippines with just the way we use pickups reliability shouldnt even be a concern.. The tech and features of this pickup is what gives this so much value proposition. You can't just pass up on such a loaded and very affordable pickup
Kaya hirap mag gain ng traction yung ibang brand sa pinas like the chinese brands. Kaya in my honest opinion hirap tibagin ang ford, toyota, nissan, mitsubishi at iba pang kilalang brand. Dont get me wrong, naniniwala rin ako na need ng more competition kaya I'm hoping marami rin maging sales ang new player brand na ito sa pinas. 👍
Ibe-baby talaga ang pickup dito dahil dito pangyabang yan. For work... Anjan yung owner, jeep, fx, multicab, and the ever-reliable, decades-old tora-tora trucks 🤣
Never ako binigyan ng problema.. Samantalang un brand new ford ranger fx4 ko 1 week palang nasira na agad rotor disbrake..
I've seen a few older GWM vehicle's in my area that are still running. They are great cars but underrated. I spoke with the owner's they have no major problems with their unit. As long you maintained it.
Trending na yung mga Chinese cars everywhere dahil quality same other brands.
The Cannon is a damn good pickup that has the best value and best tray in the segment. One thing though Sir Reygan, you left off the step ladder built into the tailgate which again, the competition doesnt have(you do get a ruler in one of them though).
About 90% percent of pickup owners in the Philippines don't use their trucks as a workhorses but rather a lifestyle truck. And no! workers here don't even use gloves when working and who would drive a car with gloves on? weird 😁
Go for foton thunder for me it is the best for the price dahil affordable na at nagbaba pa ng price, tsaka quality, durable, reliable at maporma ang design ng exterior and interior tsaka malakas makina at matulin manakbo. for gmw cannon ok din naman pero not all features are needed for the work horse pock up,tsaka manipis ang kaha o lata ng gmw cannon, and for the price point hindi sya competitive at d rin affordable, sorry to say pero yung interior design nya i love it and the comfort ride ayos ok na ok sya para dun sa mga gusto ng medyo softer and comfort ride, yung foton thunder for me is the best for all its category, excuse qnd forgive me this is only my own opinion, thank you
5⭐ANCAP SAFETY rating nakuha nito. So far so good. Happy GWM owner here.
Made in China ? The problem with Chinese vehicles is the Parts Availability particularly in the Provinces, mura ang presyo ng Truck pero yung piyesa niyan sobrang mahal.
China made Cars main problem are availability of Spare parts and Resale value. If you want peace of mind, better stick to Japanese and American trucks.
You can now feature the VW Tharu SEL 300 TSI. This compact crossover has ventilated front disc brakes and solid rear disc brakes, 18-inch alloys with red accents, independent suspension for all axles, and a variant-exclusive Polytech Blue exterior color. The base-spec Tharu SE gets exclusive Petroleum Blue.
Popular and Selling well in Australia

@@aldomartin7658 pinoy.
@@aldomartin7658 better be colonized by china than be independent pero walang asenso. Pinoy puro feeling bright at magaling pero wala nman maibuga.

They should bring the Cannon XSR and the Tank 300 to stir up the competition from the mainstream brands.
A big truck like that needs a bigger engine. At least a 2.8 liter like the hilux
GWM good rating sa Australia
This Pickup is a mix of D-Max, Hilux, and Tundra in terms of Exterior Design.

@@aldomartin7658 Yeah Chinese. Gac a Chinese company builds Honda and Toyotas at China.

Once this truck gain traction surely it will increase it's Kw & Nm.

The local Cannon doesn't get that unfortunately...
i really enjoyed your review keep up the good work
I saw lots of Mazda Miatas earlier here in Clark, Pampanga at Clark International Speedway, are you there earlier?
Yes, we were. It's in our IG stories as well.
physical buttons are important cause most workers who uses a pick up truck wear thick ass gloves, touch screen are useless for them.

after sales support there must?
Nice video nice car but hmm reliability n spare parts is?
They're selling like hot cake in Australia and South Africa. Top selling pick up truck in China for the past 25 years.
Wanted this pick up!
Regan, how sure that what happened to Maxus T60 marketing closure will never happen to Cannon
Good question
👍👍👍👍👍
I agree wit you doods♥️I will not hesitate to change my hilux manual.
Yes...definately..
because..i can get it in Cagayan de oro.

Where is the rear differential lock located , Sir Reygan?
Is this the car of Diwata?
Same car he borrowed. 👍😊
i just want tk ask that this kind of pick up trucks GWM is made of China?
Timing belt or timing chain?
14:52 I think what you mean was "lower fuel economy"
Cummins nga pala gamit ng gwm for thier trucks
No dealer in Cebu
Looks so much like the 2nd gen Tundra
Kept repeating the 8:39-8:41 mark, just could not understand it 😂
I think its “patrol”
Eco mode only 11?Nahhh. No thank you
Long drive ko nito boss Normal mode nakakuha ako Ng 14.5 kml
it misses a kitchen sink otherwise it would be a perfect Truck :p
