Town Faire. Minnie Bells once located in Emeryville m but now only in SF. San Tung is excellent, so is San Wang in SF J-Town. Brenda’s is a fun place to eat.
I was coming to say this!! Minnie Bells on Fillmore is my top choice! We had it about a month ago and it was amazing! And make sure to get the sweet potatoes!
Love this episode. I can see/imagine two hilarious root beer commercials in it too if you could have played certain tunes from Kashmir (Led Zeppelin) when your mom sipped (pretending) last drop from the root beer bottle or how you came back in full circle when tasting it (vanilla-cream-soda)

Nicole: I don't understand what other 2 sides you had at Brenda's. In Nashville Meat + 3 is a meat plus 3 veggies served with cornbread or biscuits. Btw did you know the Meat & 3 was invented here in Nashville? I can get that plate of fried chicken 🍗 with veggies for $6.99. Sorry 😞 way overpriced. Come to Nashville I'll take you around to real Southern food at reasonable prices.
Jollibee is a fast food chain found anywhere, and it ain’t all that. It’s overrated. And it only serves dark meat. And their spaghetti is the nastiest thing on earth, yuck. She’s trying independent mom and pops restaurant fried chicken. It’s like me trying wagyu beef and you saying try chuck steak instead.
@@psychomormon4932 I’m from Oakland and have eaten at World Famous Hotboys and also Jollibee in Hayward. I like both. But Hotboys is more restaurant quality. More homemade tasting. But Jollibee is good too. I don’t think it’s overrated. It’s up there with Popeyes in my opinion. Chick fil-A is less greasy than either of them. A Jollibee is opening in Alameda in September, closer to me than Hayward. Definitely going there,
