sound guy deserves a medal
Yess ! They sound insane here ! Like in the old days.
Mos Def dead ass lights too
Really? The bass level sucks
PatientMental yea korn is known for their bass
John Doe fuck yeah I've seen them 10 times or so since 96
Unlike Manson, Jon's voice is remarkably still very good considering his age and all the abuse. These guys are legends.
Not some crazy goth or anything but I disagree, guys get older need to change singing styles as the age Maynard from tool great example. Difference is Manson is still making great albums (pale emperor was great)and Korn is just doing the same songs that passed them by years ago. Don't get me wrong I saw them in the 90's incubus opened Korn was great.
Jonathan's voice has gotten better with age in my opinion. He sounds amazing. Coming from a fan since 1998 and have seen them 21 times live. They definitely are not just doing the same thing nor do they sound the same.
Mansons past has caught up with him in my opinion. Jonathan’s just too badass too get old 😂
@@christopherstewart4413 yeah and i saw mandon live and it was the worat thing iv seen live... Doesnt matter what songs u play or your "singing style" well whatever that means i want the singing style to sound just like it does on the album and jon and korn do that. There songs sound so good live... And thats what its about if ur gana play live at least do a good job and manson sucks live
I think the fact they have different throat technique didn't help Manson. In 2007 he admitted his doctor told him he'd literally destroyed his vocal chords. I think you can hear how damaged they are even by 2001
literally the song that changed my life. heard it on the radio when I was 13 and boom. metal head for life. gives me goosebumps.
tikigonewild I'm 13 now xD and KoRn was the first concert I was in the mosh and I loved it but they didn't play good god (its my favorite song) but still fucking amazing :) and I'm gonna see them in march again :D
That got airplay? Fuck I was born too early :(
tikigonewild good god on the radio? Wtf
LOL same but at 8 y.o.
I dunno,
Most singers of that era are fading away, fucking up their vocals and losing their spark... Meanwhile John keeps growing over himself to this day.
It's tough times for him and I hope he's not gonna lose his line. Kudos to him, he's a great man.
yeah but keep in mind what kind of vocals do davis and for example serj from soad, no wonder his voice is fucked up
@@elmo7455 his scream is still there i think he just not putting emotions into it anymore
@@elmo7455 Serj cant even do harsh vocals anymore, if he would just take vocal lessons he can sound great again but there is no reason for him to do it, he doesn't care much about soad anymore.
Jonathan's vocals are awesome nowadays
I would love for him to sing word up
I love JD’s voice here. It sounds much like the original version but deeper and grittier. Awesome stuff
Absolutely!!! I agree
TWIST..TWIST.... TWIST
same here. this was dumb public.
That crowd was fuckin terrible
That's what I said! Ha. Ive seen too many Twist vids with no one saying anything, so either they dont or it can't be heard...bet not many do tho...
We know the lyrics. Thanks.
@@loganstriker2973 oh shut it
LA people are so dead
Jon really did it.. Sounds identical like the album version
Wife and I saw these dudes in Nampa, ID about a year ago now. Those fans went off. Very large pit going there. My greatest regret of the night? No good god. Still a great show. Korn’s stage presence is titanic.
Fact!
Hope one day see them live. All I want before I die❤
It’s the venues
seen these guys 3 times and they always sound better than the album! its kind of unbelievable how good they are live! one of the best without a doubt!
As someone who has them 20+ times, they always sound the same and they are much better live than on album
jds voice is on point!! sounds just like the album
Bruce C that's like saying Corey Taylor has his voice from Iowa.
I always felt he was the key member him and david
Not so much on Twist, but still good.
Bruce C it oddly sounds better in my op
Please stop saying amaze balls. Just don't.
Jon went crazy at the end of Good God. His scream when he says "now" sounds so cool.
It’s a growl
@xX_PhantomDarkness_Xx he's saying JD growled, you are saying JD screamed... Y'all are saying the same thing, one is just more "accurate".
its impossible for me too sit at a korn concert even if i tried
Bubz Carter lol
Honestly it's the only reason why I haven't seen them live, I can't sit through their performance and sit, I'll catch them when concerts start back and mosh in peace 🤘
Fucking aye homie, how the fuck can anyone just sit there like this shit don't inflict real unlimited energy!
They did the same to chester bennington of linkin park (rest in peace Chester)
I had fucking seats on my only korn concert yet and I almost ripped that seat off!!!
It was a seat because I had to find a compromise for my non-metal girlfriend to finally go to a metal concert with me, but she didn't go in the end and I went with a friend.
I'm glad that I dumped that bitch😂
@@markoilic7475 🤣 damn dude I feel it
jons voice still great
Evandro Ribeiro I think his growling has become much better
Twist has a deep meaning, such poetic.
That voice is immortal.
It was a record release concert in a seated theater. There were probably loads of music industry types and casual fans there who got free tickets. Credit to Korn for putting in a banging performance.
Exactly^
Yeah, because the crowd SUCKED! Every one of their concerts I've been to, whether they were the headliners or not, was awesome & people were out of control. There's a lot of true die hard fans in my area though, so maybe that's why, idk.
@@hezmora I didn't hear 1 TWIST!!! come on...
@@hezmora being 'a true die hard fan' of anything doesn't make you sound as cool as you probably thought writing that vomit.
At 4:09 Seeing Jon smile and laugh while he is singing that line is life right there!! 😎
i still cannot and will never get over how creative genius and incredible he sounds when he shakes his head @ 4:20 like GOD DAMN
I truly believe that Korn will still be rockin into their 70's just like The Stones!!!
4:20 my favorite part when he screams now and shakes his head he makes a sick sound effect that i wish he would put in a song
Yes!
this is very high quality, both the sound on stage and the audio mixer for post production
they say money cant buy happyness.. but money bought that sound quality
Somebody said it!
it's pretty incredible how good of a show they still put on after all this time. Jon is no doubt the best live metal vocalist of all time in my opinion. 20 plus years and still sing with the passion of a band on their debut tour.
Randy Blythe.
Corey Taylor
Chester Bennington
@@gagesmedley9161 Corey doesn’t sound the same live, especially these days.
Jon is a top performer, but he is not the best. There many singers out there who blow people's minds at every concert they play, and they're not the best either.
There are many things to consider but what we can say is that Jon is one of our most favorite singers in metal.
Seen korn live twice in the past two years...they are so damn good. I swear, singers with violent vocals just get better with age. Johnathon Davis and Corey Taylor are like a fine wine
go check randy blythe!!!
Never heard a bad performance by JD, one of the most consistent frontmans of metal music
His live screams & voice are better now than ever. Wow Jon is such a legend
i love this man, 3:56 he starts listing off safety tips bless Jonathan bakersfield's favorite son.
Korn’s live performances are unreal... the last part where they absolutely GO NUTS performing Good God was insane to see. Jonathan’s voice is incredible.
Everybody complaining about crowd staning in one place - there are fucking seats everywhere so you can't move too much lol
those seats fucking stop you scream TWIST??
etnamecul I was talking about standing in place not screaming... Lean to read. I was so upset not hearing them scream, but I can get the standing.
Dawid Bartczak jump da fuck up!!
Dawid Bartczak i got your point.
anyway I think that the audience was like a pile of vegetables. thats all i wanted to say/ sorry/
etnamecul 90% of USA crowds are like that.
how good he is live, he honestly sounds just like the song in studio
the energy this guy has is crazed, amazing.
3:53 I love that he needs/wants the crowd to lose it but also stay safe. Just seems like a dope ass person to be around
I've been listening to this song since I was 7 years old and still love this song
Thats crazy, i just got into metal a few months ago :)
That's awesome. Jonathan surprises me everytime, he is so perfect !
4:21: OH MY GAWD! Fuckin LOVE it when he goes off! So much energy!
Woodstock 99 was the best performance I've ever seen Korn perform ..... He's still got the same spirit and grit ...... JD 🖤 twist
Bad ass! Brings back memories of the good days when good music was on the radio. Just as good as when I saw you in 99/2000.
Two of my favorite Korn tracks back to back
That was just perfect.
Twist intro: the true language of we cosmic fReaKs 😁♑🙏
Head made Korn's sound... That sloppy rhythm guitar/one note in "Good God". So glad Brian is back in Korn.. He's always been my favorite dude... He was was the reason Korn started playing 7 strings.
It was munky who started using the 7 string and he got head to use it. It was munky.
Yes it was actually Munky who introduced head to the 7 string which is why Korn uses 7 strings. Head even mentions it in a interview that it is actually Munky who is the reason for using 7 strings.
Slippy you might want to check facts first. Head even stated in a guitar demonstration, that munky was responsible for the interest in 7 strings.
Also munky in a phenomenal guitarist.head and Munky both respect the hell out of each other.
Munky also actually did most things on life is peachy
Head & Munky the innovators
What INCREDIBLE live performances!!! You can tell that they completely LOVE what they do!!! 😊 💜
I learned how to scat now, thanks to Jonathan Davis.
I LOVE IT,TOO BAD I CANT ALWAYS ,SCAT,
🤟🤟🤟🤟🔝
I'm on it!
I hope I can get it!
Me = influenced by korn
My 2 most fav Korn songs!!!
Korn is awesome live, Davis's voice is awesome live. Some bands struggle playing live with no safety net.
Mans voice box hasn't even been scratched over all these years
They are never disappointing live ... seen them many times . Always a great show !
Wow....these guys literally do not age with their music!, they sound phenomenal as always!!! Just like the album AND they play the hard tracks👍🏼
Korn forever!!!
i get chills every time i hear/see it!!!
I would so love to see Korn live, they sound so good live!
3:48 Bruh, that part got me 😂
My introduction to Korn was Twist, October '96
good god is one of my favorite songs period, and this performance was epic
ROCK ON 🤘🤘🤘
Grande Korn, simplemente los mejores.
Love Korn cant wait to see them i really want to
Literally the best concert I’ve ever seen. Unreal ❤
Ray is so fucking amazing!!!
That is a badass Mic stand
H.r giger designed that just for him
There are only 3 of them in the world
El mismo que sale en Coming undone
Love Korn the vocals the riffs the songs so damn good
Awesome quality!
MAAN.... And double MAN! These songs are what defined Korn's sound and is what gave them their peculiar tone, nobody was doing this when they first came out. I miss these type of Korn songs. The absence of their first drummer definitely changed their sound quite a bit... Oh well, life goes on yeah?
Que tremenda voz tiene Jonathan Davis!!! es increíble pasan los años y su timbre de voz sigue intacta!
Korn pra sempre amo essa banda♡
I love the lyrics of this song, so profound and poetic.
The best
Jon nails it every time.
rock on yeah Korn rocks
All sleeping and I enjoying my favorite music... I Love Korn...
KOлЯN the best!
I'll be 55 in November & will still be jammin to Korn...just like how I STILL love to blast Gimme Shelter!!! Check out Stone Sour's cover of Gimme Shelter...I assure you that you'll absolutely love it!!! 😍
perfect sound!!!! wow!!!
Great song by Korn 🔴🔥🔥
Has to be one of the greatest Korn songs. So nice to see them still playing tracks that show their original style.
He sounds incredible good , I've never heard korn sound so identical to the album version, i found a lot of videos when they sound equally good, ...
sounds soo goooddddd
They have so much fun with this guy ❤️
Shoutout to the one guy with the dreads in the front row losing his mind. I’m right there with ya buddy!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
каеф
Legenddd
Korn is everything!!!!!
People call this wierd but they listen to despacito they have no ideo what he is saying either
Hahaha truth
i don't like despacito but man you're really comparing scatting which literally doesn't have words in it to a song in a different language?
RNG_B3AnZ was bro shut up u got piss for brains... noh8=#lovewins
LMAO
Oh my god is korn
Excellent. J'adore. Bravo Jonathan et ses potes. Des génies...
Love this song!

BR CARALHOOO #KoRn
Metal pesado=chumbo?
Kkkk
please come to Zimbabwe
so proud of my boys koRn
That voice of his gives you goosebumps ❤😊
Ironic...this is the best sounding video/performance I've seen from them like probably ever and yet it's for a seated crowd. That's a crime
4:21 damn.
Absolutely still bossing their live performances. Which especially for Jon considering how long he’s been singing is incredible.
Love that man
Ray Luzier's drumming in Good God is fucking amazing! I love the double bass he adds. I love David Silveria because if not for him and the rest of the guys on KoRn we wouldn't have these classic songs but Ray Luzier adds so much to those classics. KoRn made the smartest decision by hiring Ray full time. Jonathan Davis's voice keeps getting better over the years. The Serenity of Suffering is amazing album! Best album they've done in years! I hope their next album is like The Serenity of Suffering... the producer did an amazing job capturing that raw sound
i love you brian
por que no a otra persona?
because
Love u too
The new Clown
One of the guitarists.
@@thenewclown7583 Brian Head Welch founding member of KoRn
Good Lord, Jonathan's voice is flawless on this. For this band's age and endless touring cycle, can you name a better, more consistent frontman? Unbelievable.
Omg he asking for everyone not to hurt each other I love him long life to metal lml
One second:
"Just don't hurt no one around you, okay guys? "
Next second:
::Hell erupts::
3:56
La voz suena mucho mejor ahí que en los conciertos de fines de los 90s, increíble
Es porque la tecnologia ha avanzado mucho desde el 97, 98 ,99 yo creo que por eso..
