Fun fact: some of the songs on the mini album were reacorded PRE-DEBUT and re-visited. Yeah, YG is really fucking them over. Like really. Also notice how D4 is the ONLY comeback they had in 2018. Which is fucked up in my opinion. I think he's just been settling on giving them modeling contracts instead of giving them material work with. They're all over it. Jennie's so drained she can't put her all on stage, Rosé isn't as cheerful as she used to be, Lisa's fucking DONE bro, and Jisoo is trying to save face but like: it shows. They don't thank YG in their awards-acceptance speeches, they look at performers with great stages with envy, and Jisoo went as far as saying "We really hope to come back in 2019 with better stages" on her MMA speech it's like. Fuck. They're SO talented and their potential is IMMENSE: Lisa and Jennie can write solid raps, Chaeyoung (Rosé) is a great singer and can play multiple instruments so she should explore her songwriting/composing skills and Jisoo has AMAZING vocals. But here they are. Being models.

I'm so annoyed with YG. BLACKPINK aren't allowed to write their own music,only get to release music once a year, and when they do release songs they aren't even new. DDU DU and the rest of the mini album were written years ago and just held onto until now. I don't understand why its so hard to let them make release music.

YG bein YG. I really wish they did more for the girls.. I love them so much. I think with blackpink, yg focuses more on their visuals since they're all beautiful girls, than anything else.. which is why their costuming and videos are always gorgeous as fuck. but the dancing has always been kinda.. underwhelming. they have so much untapped potential that it breaks my heart. I still fuckin LOVE this song though and adore every one of those sweet babies.

As far as choreo for the dance break, according to the choreographer, Lisa had a solo part but they didn't use it and changed it. I read that on twitter.

I actually prefer jenkai to kaistal... although it is pretty obvious kai has a type. Both Krystal and Jennie are beautiful and both often have RBF, and can speak english and korean fluently and they kind of have a cold princess air to them. Idk why but I think Jennie suits Kai better, but I don't know them soooooo. But yeah I have to give up on Kai, that boy has a hella active lovelife :p

So I just got home from work and I was super excited to see yall have recorded! Please no one attack me... For me it doesn't show any growth. Like they were gone for a whole year and it sounds like Boombayah, Whistle, AITYL, and the others could all go on one album. It doesn’t sound any different from the songs that they had before. I was disappointed that the dance was for me boring compared to others. Sadly I was a really big fan of them but now I've lost interest.
Completely agree with the growth aspect. I think they even could have stuck to the same style in song but stepping up the choreo or doing something interesting with the vocal parts (the format for the vocals in this is standard blackpink) just some new element. They're gonna lose people's interest by not evolving and surprising the audience.

I understand you guys i actually find it unfair that The Japanese release has all Blackpink songs and the Korean not. And the problem is their debut was in 2016 and We have allready 2019 and the first debut Album came 2018 i mean Wtf. It's called listening to the song and buying the album on itunes before watching the actual music video. LOL i would, but I don't think YG would hire me and I can't choreograph shit. The point I was trying to make is this song is a whole BOP by blackpink, the beat is fire, but it didn't get the choreo/dance it deserved so it could shine even more. I heard Lisa had originally had a solo dance break and I think that would've been great if YG kept it in. Anyways just my opinion, thanks for watching :)
