I read the wrong date from my notes, the issue with the Council of Kangs is from 1988, not 1963 that’s the date the original Avengers run started. Honest mistake while filming 🙏🏻

Great review, Dan! However, The Council of Kangs didnt appear in 1963, it was 1986 I believe. Heck, Kang the Conqueror didnt make his first appearance until 1964 (Rama Tut made his first showing in '63). Then again..time travel!

I did purchase and it’s in route. This Throne may be used by so many more before Kang does. I do like the gritted teeth look. I may mod another Kang I have to use the faces. I think I have four. The colors are great. I did pay full price but waiting for a sale isn’t a bad choice. I may get another if goes on sale. DOOM, BP, and Mephisto are the throne bros I would like to see. Actually Madame Web too in her multiverse chair. I’m so giddy about Lockjaw. More beasts Hasbro. Zabu and Lockjaw coming in the same year that’s brilliant!

Great review from Dan (The Conqueror!) 😉 Kang is a great example of a really quality Marvel Legend, I have the initial release from the Joe Fixit BAF wave and he’s great, and Hasbro are giving great “council of Kang” options with the alternate face plates, we need comic Immortus, Rama Tut and Eric The Red now aswell

Dan, this is one of my favorite reviews from you in a long time! You always do a great job, but I could really feel the enthusiasm you are emoting in the review! It makes me very excited to receive this one from Hasbro! I like everything that it comes with. It's an absolute improvement with the face plates! My favorite is the traditional blue faced Kang. I love that he has a different expression than the previous version. The accessories really ramp things up and put this exclusive pack over the top! I love the chair and his larger rifle! Great way to display him!
Dr Doom with a throw and some braziers would be great--or even a Time Platform display stand!

I really hope the character of Kang hasn’t been dropped from MCU. Dude who played Andy in Alien Romulus is a perfect recast.
Yeah, this character is the perfect excuse to recast, as they can say he’s simply another Kang variant. 🤦♂️

Great review mate!! Loving Kang’s chair and I can’t wait to get this. I really hope this opens the door for Hasbro to give us more Marvel “furniture” as you called it. I’m hoping for a comic T’Challa and Doom throne! I had someone make me a MCU T’Challa throne 6 years ago.
The hasbro Marvel legends team has outdone themselves once again. Absolutely fantastic set. A definite pick up!
That's a much better looking throne than i was expecting. I hope everyone can eventually get their Mephisto and throne some day.
I think the throne series is an excellent idea. Mephisto would be my #1 choice.

Not $60 but that’s hasbro. I did get it tho because I’ve wanted a throne for so long and I didn’t want to chance it selling out as hasbro doesn’t like to restock. So it’ll be here by Friday. I’m hoping this is them finally getting into thrones/sets. I do wish they’d given us a right trigger hand this time

I wasn't going to get it but I did, the only thing I wish they would have done is , instead of face plates they would have given us interchangeable heads so we could have bought one and if we had a Kang already we would just be able to get another single and we could have had all three heads. Hopinga third party will make a head so you can add a faceplate, or I may try my hand at 3D printing one. I Have the original release and the one from Toybiz back in the day, think now I will grab the Much movie version and have my Council of Kangs

Jonathan Majors getting fired from MCU *might* put a slight damper on sales, but I can still find his Kang at one nearby Walmart. 🤦♂️
The pale face’s nose ridges make him look like a Bajoran from Star Trek Deep Space 9, to me.
