Open AI just basically saying be innovative, actually make creative solutions if you’re gonna have an agency. And why would they be dead because most people still aren’t tech savvy to do this on their own for their business so they’re still gonna need an engineer to put stuff together for their solution.

So true. There was nothing _really_ stopping all those businesses from crafting their own ai chatbots before - but they don't _want_ to. It's often a question of time and convenience more than money

And yes there is a perceived hurdle and learning curve and complexity, so most people never even bother.

It's easy enough to change the whole landscape. It may not be "so easy, but it isn't so easy to create or edit a videos. Now look at where we are with UA-cam and the free and low cost video editing tools e.g., (Da Vinci) . The barrier has been lowered now, and OpenAI is playing for keeps. They just changed the whole game.@@emerson-sheaapril8555

OpenAI is saying we want all of humanity to step outside of the capitalistic work-pay-bills paradigm.
In your limited understanding you are right as well. You will still be able to make $$ from this for now, if it makes you feel good that is.

Do you know what's funny? People that says that AIAA are dead now, have the same logic like if I would say that web design companies or Freelancers are dead just because the ton of AI website builders or no-code website builders that are out there. However business still keep hiring agencies or Freelancers to build them websites? Why? Because the right type of customer for an agency don't have the time to handle tech stuff even if it's "Easy" for us, as there will always be tech stuff to handle even if its kind of simple, they don't have time for that. So that's where we come in.

@@samirgutierrez6319 this is true for even most European countries. It will take years before medium sized companies catch up to current trends. For lesser developed countries it will take even longer since they have a "if it works don't break it" mentality. We are still in the beginning phase imo. Development just moves very quickly within the AI space making it very difficult to follow for us pro's let alone the general public.

Consumer GPT’s are great for prototyping GPT’s before you create custom actionss. It lets you feel it out but everything still requires knowledge base building and refining. The GPT’s implementation still requires understanding and implementation and I can demo the results faster with the GPT consumer model before I fully implement.
But businesses are going to need specialized nodes refined and recruitable by higher order nodes to complete complex task and like anything…businesses are busy doing business. They will pay for us to learn this and do it right and keep up with it and new tech releases.

  • @Pure_Science_and_Technology

CAUTION! FYI there is a failure of direct retrieval with GPT-4 using the new OpenAI Assistant API. GPT tokenizes text and creates its own vector embeddings based on its specific training data. The new terms and sequences may not connect well to the pretrained knowledge in GPT's weight tensors.
There was no semantic similarity between the new API terms and GPT's existing vector space. This is a fundamental issue with retrieval augmentation systems like Rag - external knowledge is not truly integrated into the model's learned weights. Adding more vector stores cannot solve this core problem.
The solution is to have multiple learned "knowledge planes" with trained weight tensors for specific tasks that can be switched in. This is better than just retrieving separate vector representations.

Should I stop learning Python? Could you make a video on the new learning path? Also, could you do a video on price models? I am perplexed about what and how to charge my client.

does it make it easier to make a bot that is unique with knowledge bases? e.g. compared to botpress or other means. or are we better to sticking to botpress etc. the term gpt seems overused to me. its just another bot. say your old videos on bot building, do i take stuff from that and use it on gpt, as that wil be easier to build bots, or is it no easier with disadvantages
