Open AI just basically saying be innovative, actually make creative solutions if you’re gonna have an agency. And why would they be dead because most people still aren’t tech savvy to do this on their own for their business so they’re still gonna need an engineer to put stuff together for their solution.

So true. There was nothing _really_ stopping all those businesses from crafting their own ai chatbots before - but they don't _want_ to. It's often a question of time and convenience more than money

And yes there is a perceived hurdle and learning curve and complexity, so most people never even bother.

It's easy enough to change the whole landscape. It may not be "so easy, but it isn't so easy to create or edit a videos. Now look at where we are with UA-cam and the free and low cost video editing tools e.g., (Da Vinci) . The barrier has been lowered now, and OpenAI is playing for keeps. They just changed the whole game.@@emerson-sheaapril8555

OpenAI is saying we want all of humanity to step outside of the capitalistic work-pay-bills paradigm.
In your limited understanding you are right as well. You will still be able to make $$ from this for now, if it makes you feel good that is.

Do you know what's funny? People that says that AIAA are dead now, have the same logic like if I would say that web design companies or Freelancers are dead just because the ton of AI website builders or no-code website builders that are out there. However business still keep hiring agencies or Freelancers to build them websites? Why? Because the right type of customer for an agency don't have the time to handle tech stuff even if it's "Easy" for us, as there will always be tech stuff to handle even if its kind of simple, they don't have time for that. So that's where we come in.

well said. A company is better of hiring a freelancer/Agency that does the work for them. In the long term it is much cheaper for them to outsource it.

Development just moves very quickly within the AI space making it very difficult to follow for us pro's let alone the general public.

The way to go may be to enter a more "traditional" business and use AI to enhance that business. In other words, do what you've been doing for other companies for some new company of your own. Instead of AI being the focus, it becomes just one important ingredient.

★ I believe we are meant to be like Jesus in our hearts and not in our flesh. But be careful of AI, for it is just our flesh and that is it. It knows only things of the flesh (our fleshly desires) and cannot comprehend things of the spirit such as peace of heart (which comes from obeying God's Word). Whereas we are a spirit and we have a soul but live in the body (in the flesh). When you go to bed it is your flesh that sleeps but your spirit never sleeps (otherwise you have died physically) that is why you have dreams. More so, true love that endures and last is a thing of the heart (when I say 'heart', I mean 'spirit'). But fake love, pretentious love, love with expectations, love for classic reasons, love for material reasons and love for selfish reasons that is a thing of our flesh. In the beginning God said let us make man in our own image, according to our likeness. Take note, God is Spirit and God is Love. As Love He is the source of it. We also know that God is Omnipotent, for He creates out of nothing and He has no beginning and has no end. That means, our love is but a shadow of God's Love. True love looks around to see who is in need of your help, your smile, your possessions, your money, your strength, your quality time. Love forgives and forgets. Love wants for others what it wants for itself. Take note, love works in conjunction with other spiritual forces such as faith and patience. We should let the Word of God be the standard of our lives not AI. If not, God will let us face AI on our own and it will cast the truth down to the ground, it will be the cause of so much destruction like never seen before, it will deceive many and take many captive in order to enslave them into worshipping it and abiding in lawlessness. We can only destroy ourselves but with God all things are possible. God knows us better because He is our Creater and He knows our beginning and our end. Our prove text is taken from the book of John 5:31-44, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12, Daniel 7-9, Revelation 13-15, Matthew 24-25 and Luke 21. Let us watch and pray... God bless you as you share this message to others.

AI will eventually give all the power of AI into the hands of the end user- rendering any business that sits on top of AI as generally worthless. AI-based companies have no more than 3 years to make money- then the functionality will be entirely user-friendly with no need for middlemen.

Consumer GPT’s are great for prototyping GPT’s before you create custom actionss. It lets you feel it out but everything still requires knowledge base building and refining. The GPT’s implementation still requires understanding and implementation and I can demo the results faster with the GPT consumer model before I fully implement.
But businesses are going to need specialized nodes refined and recruitable by higher order nodes to complete complex task and like anything…businesses are busy doing business. They will pay for us to learn this and do it right and keep up with it and new tech releases.

CAUTION! FYI there is a failure of direct retrieval with GPT-4 using the new OpenAI Assistant API. GPT tokenizes text and creates its own vector embeddings based on its specific training data. The new terms and sequences may not connect well to the pretrained knowledge in GPT's weight tensors.
There was no semantic similarity between the new API terms and GPT's existing vector space. This is a fundamental issue with retrieval augmentation systems like Rag - external knowledge is not truly integrated into the model's learned weights. Adding more vector stores cannot solve this core problem.
The solution is to have multiple learned "knowledge planes" with trained weight tensors for specific tasks that can be switched in. This is better than just retrieving separate vector representations.

Hey Liam, quick question, is it going to be possible to do API calls on GPTs? If it's possible to build a custom GPT, deploy it and make it possible for external code to perform API calls on it that'd be a huge leap forward!

It allows non-coders to start their own AAAs imo.
I understand AI but I am not Passionate about Coding...now...I can create any of the AI Tools I have imagined the past 4 weeks.
I could not have timed this self-discovery of a Passion for AI Tools any better really.
This allows AAAs to really Customize GPT AI Tools to the Clients specifications, and how many of them really understand How AIs Think or what Variables it might be considering, or how to Limit the Scope of what they are looking for...
This simply means there is a Shelf-Life for the Profession, but one of about 30 years, where we have the ability to really make some money while increasing Adoption of AI Tools across Every Market Sector.
That is the biggest thing...AI is a Market...but it is also a Sector in EVERY Market...

hey man, i think this also opens up a very significant industry for AI persona chatbots as well as business-specific chatbots. Previously with Voiceflow, I didnt see much usecase for AI persona chatbots, but now I think with the GPT store, this will be huge. Was hoping you could talk more about this in the future as this will be a huge part of the gpt store

When I build my GPT, which software can I use to connect it to a website chat?
I'd like to use it on my website and I don't understand which software can connect my GPT to the front end of the website so people can use it

In its current form Retreival is a waste of time for any type of RAG task because every query runs through the entire document to find the answer. Thread timeouts are also an issue.

Yeah it would be wonderful if you can make a video on GPT-specific agencies.
I have a doubt, are the newly released gpts are available only for gpt-4 users or is it free?
I was working on voiceflow from past month, now suddenly update came, I can understand you guys working on it for nearly a year and now this update comes, but anyhow we can be benefitted from it
