- Filthy, Rich & Catflap is a tale of Richie Rich (Mayall), talentless and unheard of television personality along with Ralph FIlthy (Planer), his useless, sponging agent and Eddie Catflap (Edmondson), his alcoholic minder, who are both involved in helping (hindering) Richie's quest for TV fame and glory.
Episode Two - Ritchie is blackmailed by the Nolan Sisters so Eddie becomes an artist in order to raise the cash to pay them off. With Hugh Laurie, Steven Fry, the Nolan Sisters, Harry Enfield, Chris Barrie, Gareth Hale.
I loved Nigel as Neal, but Ralph Filthy may be one of my favorite characters of all time.
The way he and Richie get on is sweet. " Alright daughter. I have lied to you through my teeth throughout our professional association , Yes ( hugs with Richie) LOL.
the "extra, extra, i'm an extra gag" is pure young ones
@05istanbul True, but Bottom was written purely by Mayall and Edmondson and they made it all their own cos really they invented these Characters. This was written by Ben Elton and he did a great Job but I agree, Bottom is better. Guest House Paradiso even more so.
This proves that Ben Elton can't write on his own.

6:09 "Are you thinking what I am thinking?" The shots after that were edited around a bit. It seems to me that what ever was said before "I was thinking about making money!" And what ever was said was apparently too rude for broadcasting. I am more intrigued to what was said :p
This will answer your question. Taken from a forum "As a fledgling cameraman on 3 episodes, I remember Eddie's cut reply was," I don't know what you're thinking, but I'm thinking of drinking lager out of Maggie Philbin's bottom!"
