The ball-rod thing is to help assemble it, you use it to push the magnets into the holes.

why were there no black wca record holders? As a black man, I think there should be a minimum number of black competitors in all competitions. I researched and saw that not even in Africa there are black record holders.
Then they need to set a world record
Their different problems like distance from official event e.g. i leave 500+km away from official WCA events
But there some continental record holders like daniel wallis a black swede he holds European records for 4BLD.
In Africa we had Emmanuel paul a Nigerian he holds an African record for 4BLD, he previously held the AfR single for 3BLD. Another Nigerian that holds AfR in 6x6.
The problem is that white south africans have colonised most of the AfR records
