Agree, his 13 keys themselves, are actually a good indicator of how one should perform in a Presidential Election. The problem... the standard coding/programming problem... Garbage IN = Garbage OUT. His massive Leftist, Kamala worshiping bias, skewed the prediction matrix results of his 13 keys. One glaring example is his 9th Key: "No Scandals" He actually thought Kamala had no scandals???? Her entire Campaign was a scandal from day one, she literally was slotted in to replace a failing, feeble President and at such a late point in the Primary, she wasn't vetted through a full and proper Democrat Primary process. Then it took her several weeks before taking her first Formal Campaign interview with the Press, and she shows up with her VP attached at the hip. Speaking of VP, that VP pick was another scandal, with her choosing Walz over Sharpiro of PA. It just got worse for her from there.
@@rogerc23 They were not easy pics wtf are you talking about lol The last trump biden election was insanely close, so was Gore and Bush, so was hilary and trump.
The worst part is, keys were not wrong. His interpretation of current events was wrong. One of the keys was "Uncharismatic challenger " and he said Trump isnt charismatic. Like wtf, the guy is literally the only real estate mogul whose name was even known to the public. His businesses literally revolve around his name and fame, he plays the crowds masterfully. The guy has charisma. Other key: "No foreign or military failure "... I guess afghanistan didnt ring his bell. This guy is so deluded, that he cant even follow his own recipe anymore.
They keys are absurd. For starters, by now his record is 8 out of 11, as he got 2000 and 2016 wrong too (he just pretends not to have), and that's not impressive at all as a record. Aggregate polls alone likely predicted the results with the same accuracy. Then, by making a model using data from 1860 from 1984 and still using it today, unchanged, he's assuming that nothing has changed in the last forty years. Nothing, not the Internet, not social media, not a totally different TV and media landscape...those things apparently cannot change in any way the outcome of an election with regard to how things used to be in the 19th century. And lastly, having input data such as 'uncharismatic challenger' or 'no scandal' is not scientific. Since he hasn't established what is an objective way to measure those things, he is in effect just feeding the model with whatever he pulls out of his ass. He can make whatever prediction he wants based on anything else, and then just change the keys post-facto in order to make them match the prediction.
The hilarious thing is that his 13 keys are not a bad model. If you actually use them and aren't biased af, they predict that trump wins. He just used his own model incorrectly because of his severe TDS.
i mean, hes gotten 9 of the last 11 right, and alot of them well in advance. Weird that hes taking it so personal this time. I remember he wasnt such a whiner last time he was wrong.
@@DabDabGoose He had a surprisingly reasonable rant on why the Democrats lost in 2024. The comments on the original video were mixed with some people claiming to be Republicans who were willing to work with his proposed changes.
His meltdown was terribly disappointing to witness. To anyone interested. He had claimed for years that his prediction model forces the person using it to be objective. He put out a video where he goes over his model and then determines the winner. By the way he answers some of the questions in his model one can already tell he is not being objective. Well… all his bias came up to the surface on his election night live stream.
That's like saying communism works in theory if everyone is perfectly altruistic and not greedy. But people are not perfectly altruistic and people are very greedy.....so the model doesn't work ever??? That's right.
He also wants to pretend his “keys” are a completely perfect tool. But he’s gotten multiple elections wrong and makes excuses every time. You’d be better just flipping a coin.
This is actually the thing i think is the best part about his story. I think his keys were right. He said that if she lost 6 keys she would lose. He counted 4 lost keys. I counted at least 8, 9 depending on how you interpret the questions, lost keys. He is either too stupid to see reality or he was willing to tank his career to shill for someone.
I predicted this 2.5 years ago. The only people who didn't see this coming are in a bubble. What he doesn't understand is that his system is now outdated. People aren't going by the same rules anymore.
Not really. Both looked like toddlers. He was making "coocoo sounds" like a child and clearly got flustered when the other guy said that the comments were against him. It looked like two 7 year olds fighting over if zapdos or moltres is stronger
@coolcalmwhisper-go3tz yeah chunk yogurt got flustered when the guy roasted him with a comments about him because that was the one and only thing the guy had on chunk yogurt. The guy is still a delusional Nut Job who thinks that Kamala was going to win
The criteria for the keys can be very subjective. Bin Laden being taken out under Obama's administration is enough to award the "Foreign Military Success" key even though that did little for Afghanistan, yet Trump didn't get it for for ISIS collapsing under his administration. One of the economic keys is literally "GDP goes up" while ignoring everything else. Scandal is the most subjective of them all, since you can find scandals in every administration depending on how nitpicky you are.
haha yeah its funny how much asmon puts his faith into the theories that he was taught when he was 5, then basis this on if someone has a high IQ. no joke this is his line in the sand. Hes goofy bro, he needs to get out and touch grass, but thats the whole point - how could someone like him, know whats really going on, if he never leaves his house.......
Actual truth. I've seen his keys, they were actually fine - it's just that he went full copium and assigned YES to what was obviously NO to some of those keys.
Yeah, a lot of the keys are very subjective to begin with. Like "is the candidate charismatic?". Obviously that's important, but he just copium'd that Trump is not charismatic, so he will lose, and then blamed the voters for disagreeing.
The saddest thing is that his method isn't wrong, it's that he wasn't objective in evaluating his own method. He doesn't treat Kamala Harris as part of the Biden administration, he thinks there was no scandals under that administration, doesn't count RFK as a credible primary opposition, and actually thinks Kamala Harris (the least popular VP) is somehow charismatic with her word salad and cringe cackling.
That’s how you talk to people who say “Look at your own comments section, your fans trash you”, “I don’t need you to call me stUPID”, and “blasphemy against me”, being an adult doesn’t fully work sometimes, sadly.
The most insane thing about this guy is that his TDS is so bad, instead of admitting he applied his 'keys' wrong, and that his formula is otherwise still solid but for his mistake, he would rather invalidate his entire life's work and only reason people have him on TV, and effectively admit his formula is worthless now because his keys can't account for "misinformation".
Because to do the former he would have to admit he was wrong in some way. Which huge narcissists like this are incapable of doing. So he’d rather torpedo his life’s work and credibility than admit he isn’t always right.
If you’re wondering, that guy’s key points have answers like “is the competitor charismatic” for trump, and he says “obviously no” that- and several other subjective points are why they lost.
The charisma one is objective, he's just dumb. It's if you pull support from outside your normal party. He says Trump doesn't because only ultra conservatives vote for him (obviously wrong) and that Kamala does because... ultra conservatives like the Cheneys, Bushes and Romneys defected to support and vote for her... I'm sure it makes sense to him.
@@Lumbersnacks82 Extremely good track record for being right. What they're doing to him is wrong. The best part? His keys weren't wrong he's just living in an echo chamber and didn't apply it properly. He was told that his keys show Trump victory weeks before the election and went the Skinner's "it's the kids who are wrong" route.
@@felixjohnson3874is true tho. There were objectively wrong facts applied to the keys (economy is good, no scandals, Kamala won the primary) and if you were to apply facts honestly, you get Trump. tbh, the economy and scandals questions were doing the heavy lifting for most of his predictions, so it's nothing THAT impressive, but ironic how he himself and his own activism is what destroyed the keys's credibility, not the system itself. Good riddance anyway.
Whats funny is if you go through the keys he has, a series of true/false questions and apply it to reality, it predicted a Trump victory. But since he lives in a delusion when he applied the keys it he predicted kamala.
I was switching channels all over the internet to watch the leftists news and yt channels going crazy over the realization that Trump is going to win. 😂😅 very entertaining 😅😂
It’s not the wrong prediction itself that’s causing the backlash, it’s the hubris with which Lichtman approached the entire situation. Everyone makes mistakes, but if there is one thing that rubs everyone the wrong way it's the smug overconfidence
I don't even think his key system is bad. He just purposely misinterpreted several keys in Kamala's favor and it bit him in his behind. He only got himself to blame for tainting his own system.
@MrRaynx3 No, not the key system. That's my point. He gave keys to blue that were clearly red. If he would have been honest, the system would have predicted the right winner once more. TDS got in his way.
@@MrRaynx3 That's where every single methodology is flawed. Every single predictive model ever conceived of by man is weak to bias and misinterpretation. It is why anyone dealing with predictive models doesn't rely on a single model or even the first interpretation; they use multiple models with datasets that have changed over time to get a more accurate picture.
@@MrRaynx3 More like he purposely sued all his keys backwards... "is trump likable? NO!!!" "does the person have military failures? KAMAL HAD NOE! My brothers in bald, the keys did nothing wrong. It seems the model works just fine, when you plug in the real data instead of propaganda talking points.
In another interview he said that white dudes like him are on the decline and that’s why Kamala will win. I wonder why he said that. For what reason are white people on the decline?
@@bushmonster1702 only if it’s self proclaimed like the guy in the video. “Experts” do exist but they don’t go around flaunting their “professional” opinions.
I like what I saw from Tim Pool, he took that man's (A Lichtman) own standard and listed them out that gave a clear answer for Trump's win, while the man himself refused to use his own scheme correctly.
Here's the thing: I think Allan's keys are actually an accurate predictor. Allan himself in his bias and interpretation of the keys, however, is not. It was Allan that misread his own method. Napoleon did the same thing when he ignored half his own war tactics when he lost Waterloo just because he essentially was like, "I'm f**kin' Napoleon. I don't lose."
@@freshheck9066 the method isn't vulnerable though, the person using the method just did it wrong because of their own biases. If it had been used correctly, which it was by many people other than Lichtman himself, then it's pretty accurate. @@hughmungus8701 You're proving my point. If some people do it "wrong" and some people do it "right", and the way to gauge right and wrong is by looking at who made the correct prediction, then it's a subjective process, not a predictive methodology. It's reading chicken bones.
@@hughmungus8701 I remember thinking that Lichtman was misapplying his own keys in the lead up to the election. I never took him seriously enough to go back and check, but let's do it now: 1. Party Mandate (Incumbent Party holds more seats in Congress after midterms) - Harris 2. No Primary Contest (Well, we didn't have THAT, but what we had was WORSE for the incumbent party) - Trump (Lichtman said Harris) 3. Inbument seeking re-election - Obviously Trump (though iirc Lichtman still had this for Harris pretty late in the cycle) 4. No Third Party - Trump (Lichtman says Harris but this is him misreading his keys. Kennedy WAS a serious third party, but he joined Trump, which his model never envisioned) 5. Strong short-term economy - Trump (Lichtman again said Harris, but we all know the economic numbers are cooked and public PERCEPTION is that the economy is bad) 6. Strong long-term economy - Trump (I believe Lichtman said Harris again, but this is again the economic morass of numbers vs. reality) 7. Major Policy change - Trump (Lichtman did not realize that the DEI and progressive stuff would result in the backlash that it did) 8. No Social Unrest - Trump (not as bad as 2020, but the social unrest that did exist was exclusively hurting Democrats with the Israel thing) 9. No Scandal - Trump (Lichtman said Harris, but there were definitely scandals: Joe's dementia, Hunter Biden, etc) 10. No foreign or military failure - Trump (if Lichtman did not give this to Trump after Afghanistan, he's an idiot) 11. Major foreign or military success - Trump 12. Charismatic Incumbent - LOL no. Even if you call Harris the incumbent this is a joke. 13. Uncharismatic Challenger -- Trump is uncommonly charismatic, and Lichtman definitely doesn't understand this. His keys are far too subjective, imo.
If it was a plane crashing, rather than a failed election prediction, the model involved would be tossed out the nearest window. Lichtmann can twist and turn with the "soft science" of polling and predictions. I'm glad he got called out.
Never in my like did I think Cenk, would contribute to the salt mine of this post election. He seems to be enjoying laughing at this plane spiraling downward.
Many of the fringe Democrats are because they're not the establishment. Even Maher is fringe at this point, at least compared to the Dem leadership if not the grassroots. Center-left is vanishing in terms of representation. They basically understand how Republicans feel when their party nominates a turd of a candidate like Mitt Romney.
@@Dimas_Lopes He and Bill Maher both while they are definitely not Trumpers, they both understand the game and how badly the Dems played it. The only weird part is, as others comments point out, why this guy ignored his own 'keys'. The funny thing is, his scale was actually correct. Kalama had a score of 1 out of 13 on his scale meaning she had no chance of winning the election. Allan just doesn't want to admit that his scales works.
This is the problem with the "experts." They think everything is reducible to sets of data, then after their predictions fail they immediately abandon reason and start grasping at straws to explain how they could be both right and wrong at the same time.

His massive Leftist, Kamala worshiping bias, skewed the prediction matrix results of his 13 keys.
One glaring example is his 9th Key: "No Scandals"
He actually thought Kamala had no scandals???? Her entire Campaign was a scandal from day one, she literally was slotted in to replace a failing, feeble President and at such a late point in the Primary, she wasn't vetted through a full and proper Democrat Primary process. Then it took her several weeks before taking her first Formal Campaign interview with the Press, and she shows up with her VP attached at the hip.
Speaking of VP, that VP pick was another scandal, with her choosing Walz over Sharpiro of PA. It just got worse for her from there.
Yeah his brain was turned off just like all msm

His TDS is too strong!
Ikr the keys aren’t even bad he’s just terrible at assigning them
Spot on. He sunk his own system because he didn't account for his bias blindspot.
Celebrities loved Trump when they thought he was going to run as a Democrat
The hilarious thing is that his 13 keys are not a bad model. If you actually use them and aren't biased af, they predict that trump wins. He just used his own model incorrectly because of his severe TDS.

8. No Social Unrest - Trump (not as bad as 2020, but the social unrest that did exist was exclusively hurting Democrats with the Israel thing)
9. No Scandal - Trump (Lichtman said Harris, but there were definitely scandals: Joe's dementia, Hunter Biden, etc)
