Idk, I just get really into character and try to sound natural and not really stress it. The best thing you can do is memorize your lines and then say it because then it's less likely to sound like you're reading. You also shouldn't stress getting a few words wrong, as long as it means the same thing as the original scripted words. The most important part is to just have fun! Don't feel embarrassed or be timid unless that's what the part calls for. Never be afraid to overact a little, that's how you get the emotion. Edit: I also used to quote shows all the time so I have a little experience of acting. I've always wanted to be an actor and a musician so I guess I've always been into the Performing Arts! I usually have to do scenes multiple times and I need to practice my screams.
