Sylvia Jeffries so mild mannered in extremely bizarre adventure there and jumping out of plane not a single word out of place how polite can you be Sylvia Jeffries it can safely be said never but never swears how amiable she was well spoken lady 4:30

TL;DR hyper freezing dry air: no problem. almost freezing water: very dangerous. Long text: It would, if it was outside the body. The sheer volume of a warm human body means that couple minutes of cold air is not going do any damage whatsoever. Outer skin layer might drop some degrees but that's normal. Other point good to remember is that that air is likely very dry, low in humidity. Water transfers heat more easily. So if this therapy would be conducted in freezing water, it would be more difficult and dangerous. There's wiki on ice swimming, more indepth explanation but in summary, person could drown *instantly* if jump into freezing water. People with heart problems and such could, after awhile, get cardiac arrest. So freezing water is no laughing matter.
