I never noticed until this ride how INVOLVED she is, taking everything in around her! I think I misread it as her looking for things to spook at, but it seems she's just enjoying her job! She did so well! Thanks for the reminder, I need to buy an umbrella to train with!
@bethendurance I'm hoping to get back into it! Just bought myself a two year old Arab, so hopefully in a few years :) Definitely want to do some endurance. Love your vlogs ! X
I just subscribed to your channel. I live in Louisville Kentucky and did endurance riding for about 40 years on my horses. I did 50 mile and 100 mile endurance rides. I love watching people compete now that I don’t any longer. What type of boots do you have on her? Are they scoot boots? That’s what I use.
Beth do you have any tips for getting the confidence to ride out alone. I'm fine in company but me and my mare get nervous on our own. I always have to team up with someone for Endurance rides but it would be nice to not have to rely on company.
My biggest tip is to work on yourself, if the rider is confident then they can deal with a nervous horse. I highly recommend a Charlie Unwin talk or read his book. Work on visualisation of how you'd deal with the things you're worried about and breathing exercises to keep your heart rate down which will keep you calmer. X

She's so alert 😆 I think sometimes she overloads herself because she's trying to look at everything 😅 she definitely enjoys being out though x
Good luck with your training, AND all the best for 2024 .☺☺☺👍👍💖
Thank you 😊 x
Lovely to see you both out again, bless Estrid for getting a bit worked up but she was so good!
She still tries so hard to contain herself and do what she's meant to, it's cute 🥰 x
That's where the American adventure theme park used to be ! Where your parked, I used to do Stunt shows with my horses there! Small world!
That's so cool! Do you still do stunt work? X

I love how happy she looks all the way round! I would be so stressed about getting lost 🙈
Normally they're so well marked you don't need a map but I tend to input the route into my OS app as a GPX then it's like riding with a satnav 🤓😆 x
