Passed all FTCE GK tests at the beginning of December and the FTCE Professional Ed test today. While I had already wasted money with 240 tutoring - all strategies I used on this test I learned from your UA-cam videos and free seminars. What an awesome service you are providing to teachers. I let my certificate lapse and had to retake these test 15 years later - the stress was a lot. Thank you for the incredible tips and information, they were invaluable.

I scheduled the test last March when they were offering fee-waived tests. I thought I had scheduled it for April, but apparently, it was for today. When they emailed me on Sunday night, I only had 48 hours to prepare. Thanks to your videos, I passed this evening!

It is now much easier to get reading endorsed where you just have to pass the Reading Test without having to do the 300 hours. (Thank God because the 300 hrs thing would suck! 😜) More important to know of the concepts of everything instead of trying to cram all this information - Knowledge SKill and Attitude - Testing Blueprint is important to help you out on test! No Swimming and No Fishing! You don't have to ace the test just enough to pass the test so you don't stress out! Phonemic awareness is how you say the word and Phonics is how you write and spell the word!!

I learned that the K-12 reading endorsement test has the highest percentage of people pass on the first try 64% verse 59% on the GK and 57% for K-6. I also learned that before 2019 you had to do 300 hours to get your reading endorsement. I think this test sounds like a win cause I don't want to do 300 hours of reading.

The most helpful tip I learned was to skim the answer choices before reading the passages to save time.
