I agree with your thing on tennis, I’ve played tennis for 5 or 6 years now and is one of my favourite sports to play, I don’t play professionally but I think fans should be able to cheer but I think the problem with it in tennis is that you need to focus, like I’m decent at tennis but I feel I’d play worse with noise about but idk
So sports where fans can cheer don't need focus while playing? Think about it brotha.
@@drew651 well they do but tennis is a one on one game in an i closed environment compared to like football or rugby where it’s a big pitch with multiple players and you don’t feel as much pressure as when you’re one on one in a smaller court

@@drew651 yes but I mean, I don’t mind a crowd, but in tennis you need a lot of focus at a high level. Boxing needs focus but it’s a fight so your adrenaline is going and you’re already focused, tennis is just skill and having to use technique
Bro come on. I'm sure you meant well, but the concentration you need for tennis is nothing compared to what you need in baseball. hitting something that goes up to 95 mph -100 mph, not including breaking pitches, requires immense concentration. Cricket as well I'm sure. Moreover, the chants/cheering occur During The At-Bat, not just before or after, making it ever harder for some players. At least here it's quiet beforehand, and then noise/cheering is made thereafter. Even if some cheering did occur during actual gameplay, the level of concentration isn't as deep as other sports, especially with something like baseball. Therefore, If you want to do away with the cheering (I can go either way tbh), it has less to do with concentration and more with adjustments. After all, these are professional athletes where their skills become so natural to them after many hours of practice. So tuning out isn't a big problem. If you were barely starting to play the sport, I could definitely agree to how noise would be a distraction.

Bro tennis needs to be more hype in terms of crowds. I play tennis and I feel like it would be more enjoyable if we had that type of energy. I watch other sports like volleyball and even wrestling at my school and I just love the energy but when it comes to tennis we don’t get all that. I’m just saying it would be nice

@@scott--1629 nah you’re not understanding it. I play tennis, golf and football, and if someone is making noise when I hit the tennis or golf ball, I can’t concentrate. It’s because the ball is small and you are hitting the ball with your club or racquet, with isn’t part of your body, also the crowd is closer to you. Think of it as if someone jumps out and scares you, you aren’t expecting it at all

JiDion is like a 15 year old's idea of what an edgy or cool person is.
Also, tennis is a weird sport from an audience point of view. You can get very rowdy crowds depending on where you're playing(Wimbledon is more posh). But a common thread is that matches are quiet during play and loud when a point gets exciting. I equate it to watching a movie in a theater. It would be annoying if someone was talking or making noises all the time. Same for tennis.
Not every sport needs to have a football crowd.
Plenty of grown ups watch jidion as well, his main demographic is 16-21
