Edit: Also just to add on, at that point in time the group was expected to fill the very big shoes left by Big Bang (Ikon was still not a proper group then), they also lost a member, and were facing disbandment. That's a lot of burden on someone so young.
YG just has that “50’s vibe” that you mentioned in some of their songs like in (iKON) Just Go, Perfect, Adore You. (BigBang) Let’s Not Fall In Love (Blackpink) As if it’s your last Idk, I really like the beat and the bass in those songs. Hope you guys check them out too

Kang Seung Yoon is Underrated Vocalist. He have a rare, rich and unique voice with a great singing skill. He is Brilliant. Everytime he sing always left strong impression in head and stuck for long time..💙
