My dad used to play Boney M on weekends, brings back lots of childhood memories. He passed in 2011 but this takes me back. :)

L'avantage de ce langage imagé est qu'il peut s'adapter à chacune de nos situations. Que Dieu nous sauve de chacun de nos esclavages et de nos aliénations. Que que Dieu vienne aussi briser les chaînes de la fatalité où le mal engendre un autre mal, la vengeance une autre vengeance, l'accident un autre accident...

Great praise the desire to be in Zion! Zion is where God had made His home on earth capital. Babylon had conquered the world. One day it was told to the people of God they would return to Zion as a free people (Psalm 137) and this song, i believe, is for all of us who have come to the place in our lives where we too need to dwell in Zion! THERE IS A WAY RIGHT WHERE WE SIT.

I never saw this official film clip of one of my favourite songs. The song is about the captivity of Judah by Nebuchadnezzar and I notice that this is a clip with dark skinned people just like the original Hebrews were. Perhaps they knew something in the 70,s we are just realising now.
