Do you (all the speakers in this video) want to deliver your messages to 1% population or 99% population? I want the SPEAKERS and VIDEO EDITORS remember this--QUANTITY of TARGET POPULATION (99%) is important. I also want the INTERVIEWERS also to speak KAREN. If you have a challenge in SPEAKING, then PRACTICE. If not, choose other INTERVIEWERS. If you start speaking English, most of them will automatically and unconsciously reply you in English, the stronger speaking language for them. One reason WHY these YOUNG KAREN PREFER SPEAK English is "Karen Language becomes MORE DIFFICULT or MORE CHALLENGE or LESS INFLUENCE to speak than the English Language. We cannot blame them. In fact, we need to PROTECT them from language challenge/difficulty. Encourage them speaking Karen language 1) at home and 2) among Karen each other. 3) Increase their exposures to the Karen community more in order to value Karen Language more. Or other factors.
They all know how to speak Karen language but they want the world (*many people in the world understand English) to know that this is Karen people & Karen New Year (not Burmese or Burman). If they speak in Karen language, only Karen people will understand it. For Karen version, you can find it in the other channels. Thanks.
