This has to be one of the best racing sports from the driver's perspective out there. So close to the water and you always feel like it's faster on the water than on land. Great stuff. Wish I was 17 again.

@Wornskibum im talking smaller motors, and 7 grand is within the rev limiter so it safe. if you have a 2 stroke dirt bike and just pin it and have it running high revs it will last, do that with a 4 stroke and it will blow the top end. since theirs no valve train on a 2 stroke theres no worry to bend a valve ect. so you can ride gears right out. its not good but you can. if you over rev a 4 stroke it will create valve ticking and other bad things

sorry buddy..NO cabin cruiser does 80 mph and if your talking about kph thats still 50 mph and that is pretty much a no go. Old style jet mini day cruisers maybe 50 mph max but thats pushing it.80 mph on water takes a VERY powerful engine. My Bahner 19 ft jet with a 460 ci engine with a lot of goodies maxes out at 85-90. If u still think it goes that fast please tell me the make , model and engine because my wife wants a bigger more comfortable ride but i still need the power and speed.

A cabin cruiser doing 80 mph? Even 80 kph is beyond belief. Our 30 ft Carver Aft Cabin with flybridge with 2 220 hp Crusaders running light will touch maybe 25 mph, downhill with a tail wind. LOL Usually cruise around 15 mph, sucks less gas!
