Bobcat T190 Fan Drive Broke At The Worst Time!!

- Our trusty and cheap auction buy Bobcat T190 for the Wasilla homestead has been making a horrible noise for a while. This video summarizes the t190's repair, but not without a series of complications and learning experiences along the way.
A big thank you goes to Craig Taylor Equipment for either having, or being able to get the parts needed to keep this homesteading work horse alive! Without their help the t190 would probably be in a much worse state than it is and progress on our homestead build project would be a lot slower.

Thanks for the video
My pleasure and thank you watching. Skid Mark has been a pain and learning curve, but it has been about the best tool I have bought for the homestead yet.
That’s Awesome! Have a great weekend! 🤗❤️✨
Thank you and have a great weekend too!
Thanks for posting this video. I have hydraulic fluid coming out of the vents on both sides. I did not see it in your video but is there a hose above the fan that could be leaking?
The only thing above the fan that I can think of would be the hydraulic oil cooler that I believe is on top of the radiator.
When my coolant tank blew it flooded the cooler area and coolant shot out of the fan outlets. Maybe a hydraulic line to the cooler is leaking?
@@VowellVentures Ok will check when I open it up. Thanks.
@@KINGSTONSPRIDE one other possibility would be if your machine has a hydraulically driven fan instead of belt driven like mine. I don't know which years ran them, I would assume newer than my '05 though.
Either way, kind of a pain in the butt to deal with since everything is so tight, but feels great once things are fixed and the machines are purring again! Good luck!
@@VowellVentures Found the leak. It was the bottom hose on the hydraulic oil cooler. It’s dripping down into the radiator onto the fan when running and shooting out both sides of the vents. Hopefully the new hose stops the problems. Thanks for the advice. Good day to you.
@@KINGSTONSPRIDE glad you found it!
