I understand the "dirty it up" idea is more not only more accurate, but more real world as well. STILL, can't help but like your original a little better. Just the stark pop for color contrast of leather and steel. Awesome use of some great material. *~Cheers~*
I love dirting up my props. But yeah that contrast was nice, that's why I pointed it out. Glad you liked the build and I loved trying out the new material
It is pretty legit. Might have to look for some more projects to use it with. And I was pretty happy with the paint job too. I had my brother in disbelief that it was all foam
THANK YOU!!!! I have most of my cosplay done but these shoulder pieces seemed so much more scary than they actually were. Your templates were super handy and I used the same foam chainmail also so it worked out perfectly!
I'm really digging this build man it's fantastic, and not knocking you at all, and it's pronounced like Care-more-in or hen when you say it all together.
Thanks. It was a fun, quick build. I am staying safe. I have only been out of my house 3 times in 2 1/2 weeks. Social distancing is kind of my jam 😆 hooray for being an introvert
You are officially my new favorite maker! So many good builds with easy to follow templates! Your work is incredible. I'm new to prop making and I'm currently working on the spartan helmet. Your videos will be getting me through this lock down for sure
:) Glad that my video can be informative and help you stay busy. I look forward to sitting down and being creative everyday. Truly me in my own world, nothing more zen than that.
This was incredibly helpful! Getting ready to start making the Kaer Mohren armor (I'm a sewist, I am not well versed with foam armor) and was wondering how on earth to do the chain mail! These look great!
That's a tall order. I will add it to the list, but can't make any promises. I was actually looking for some smaller builds from Doom to dip my toe into the franchise with. Any suggestions for small items (keys, cards, power ups etc.)?
I've bought some AC items at Halloween that I thought about doing some stuff with. I will definitely need to finish the other two full cosplays I currently have going first. Like the suggestion though.
The base for the pauldrons is What the Foam. It is super dense and is very sturdy. It is not like normal EVA. The plasti content is a little higher, it's almost like EVA met worbla.
I decided to use this as a basis for armor for an original Sith costume I'm working on. I tinkered with the design a bit, omitting the chainmail and love the result. drive.google.com/file/d/1GA4-Qk_QPolmdw-z-viphiLEbzlmJyrl/view?usp=sharing My only issue is that I decided to not use the strapping that you used and am having a difficult time trying to get the shoulders secured for wearing. I also didn't quite understand the way you strapped the arms to the shoulders and retained the fit. I'm fairly new to EVA Foam building and would love some help figuring this out! Love this channel!
I just added straps with velcro on the underside so that I could adjust them. The elastic that I attached to the biceps is what keeps them from sliding off. Kami Cosplay, Punished Props and Odin makes also have videos on armor builds, with various methods of attachment.
Are youre builds on etsy not a bit to expensive ? Why do you ask so much ? I really want to buy the thirst zapper, but 100... Eur is to much. But I really like all you're builds
Sorry you don't think my prices are fair. I think they are reasonably priced for all the time I put into things. I also have lots of sales and items over $35, I pay for the shipping.

😁 good to hear. It keeps me motivated. And humbled to be part of people's weekly routine.

Possibilities are endless! Great build! . Thank you.
I first thought abou trying a mail coif but quickly got distracted with Geralt's armor. Glad you liked it
@@MuchProps Wow! Brill idea! Only way I could picture it would be to have an opening at the back . It could work! Nice.
This is so cool, it looks like real chainmail
I am excited about tackling the rest of his armor. Got a couple things ordered, no telling how long it will take to get it all in
That chainmail is awesome! Great paint job

Glad I could help! I love that foam chainmail from Ben Eadie. It is amazing.
Nice build! I love the paintjob you made, the chainmail looks like real metal!
😁 thanks. I was so excited that Ben Eadie wanted me to try his chainmail out. So much fun. Saw your boot cover video, looked pretty awesome.
Thanks!😄
NICEEEEE!!!! 👌👌👌👌👌
😁 thanks. I was really interested in Eadie's chainmail when I saw it on Tested a few months ago

Good build
Thanks. It came together really quick too
That leather effect you’ve painted is really impressive! Looking forward to seeing the rest of it
Thanks. I am super pumped about this build too.
That is freakin amazing. Love it.
Thanks. Excited to get busy on the rest of it
I love working with this foam chainmail. It's so easy and it looks amazing. You did a fantastic job!
It was my first go at it and I was pretty pumped. I was surprised how easy this whole build came together
Cool build. I've watched other builders make chain mail items. Never wanted to make my own, until NOW! 👊
You need to look a Ben Eadies website, www.foamarmory.com , his chainmail make the task super easy.

FoamArmory.com has foam chainmail and scalemail, both are epic additions to most projects
Cool product. Great job!
Thanks man. Hope everything is going ok on your island. Stay safe my friend.
As always this looks amazing Thomas.
Love it
😁 I was leery to start another full build but, they are making me excited to get working every day.
Be save coach Hanna
I will try Chris. You do the same. Miss seeing that positivity every day. How's you home based learning going?
Awesome build and a very interesting product may have to look into it.
It is definitely worth the look. Especially if you are looking for a lightweight chainmail alternative. It looks pretty legit when painted up
The top peice on the right hand side could be used as a mask template js
Definitely. Just add some sides to it. I like how you think😁👊
@@MuchProps well thank ya sir
I love your work keep going never stop pro..
As long as people keep watching, I'll keep putting them out there.
Well very good work, But jeje I prefer made my chainmail in metal.
Never tried making the real thing before. I am sure it is very tedious.
@@MuchProps not really, well for me, is great, one day if you want I show you my work!
plz plz make the sith trooper helmet from star wars
I will add it to my list. my very very long list. So much to do so little time. :)
could you make the BFG from doom
That's a tall order. I will add it to the list, but can't make any promises. I was actually looking for some smaller builds from Doom to dip my toe into the franchise with. Any suggestions for small items (keys, cards, power ups etc.)?
I just wanted to ask when will you do another jigsaw prop
Not sure. Need to look and get some ideas.
Hi my friend much Props can you altair or ezio clothes and weapons from assassin's creed?
I've bought some AC items at Halloween that I thought about doing some stuff with. I will definitely need to finish the other two full cosplays I currently have going first. Like the suggestion though.
Please tell me you spray paint those foam chains to look like actual Steel
Yep.
do you have the chest piece build
Sorry, this kind of got put on the back burner. Now that my Fallout build is done I may have to start back on it.
100 Likes to 0 dislikes! I Like!
Don't worry, the trolls will come... they always come. But luckily I am dressed like a Witcher, so I am prepared 😆👊
@@MuchProps awesome build...These Chainmails make the work easy
Could you make DOOM Slayer's helmet from DOOM Eternal?
That is a pretty epic helmet. Doom Eternal looks amazing.
I have a question, is the foam you use rather sturdy? Or can it collapse easily?
The base for the pauldrons is What the Foam. It is super dense and is very sturdy. It is not like normal EVA. The plasti content is a little higher, it's almost like EVA met worbla.
