Your situation is very similar to mine. I also currently own a Rane Four that I was looking to replace with the Rev 5. I was also looking at the T7, what were your thoughts on it? What are your likes and dislikes about the T7? I owned an inpulse 500 and I was definitely not crazy about the build quality.
Build quality is ok. Not going to Match the Rev5. Torque is pretty good and the layout is pretty good. No built in effects but don’t think the Rev5 does either. His issue is the record slip. It’s not slipping enough. Mines been fairly inconsistent as well but getting better as I work it. The spindle spring clips hold the record down too tight. A little fiddling will loosen it up. Unlike him I had good luck with two slip mats. I ordered some butter rugs to try but still on the fence if I’m keeping mine.

The Rane 4 is a solid controller. I wouldn’t get rid of it. The T7 definitely. Rev 7 definitely a beast when it comes to moving platters
