Cooper driving away from his family. While the heavenly musical score is playing, we hear the launch countdown, we see Cooper driving away, and we see Murphy running out of the house after her beloved father..... I've watched this magnificent film a hundred times, and this scene still makes me lose it. It's the best-crafted scene of the film, in my opinion. Brilliant direction!
Funny thing is that I don’t actually think Coop ‘promised’, if you watch it back, he just says ‘and I’m coming back!’, there was no ‘promise’ in there, I think! .. A sign of a good man is that he lets his word be his word, if he says something, then that’s it! A man of his word! Awesome!
Yes, brilliant acting. Scenes like the one from Armageddon (Liv Tyler talking to her dad at the end) seems to be hollywood over-the-top. It's not bad but doesn't compare to those scenes here.
Very true, there are some things that should make anyone with a heart cry. I also don’t trust anyone that doesn’t cry from Uncle Iroh singing “Tears From the Vine”
You nailed it. The whole message is about the unquantifiable power of love ❤. Without that bond between Coop and Murph there would have been no happy ending.
In the movie Interstellar, the ticking sound in the background of scenes on Miller's planet represents a full day passing on Earth. The ticks occur every 1.25-1.5 seconds. For example, if Cooper and Brand were away for 23 years, four months, and eight days on Miller's planet in Earth time per Romilly and TARS, they're only actually there for about three hours and seventeen minutes.
This movie is phenomenal, an absolute 𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗣𝗜𝗘𝗖𝗘, my all-time favorite! I had the privilege of watching it in the theater, and let me tell you, it was a mind blowing experience. The visuals, the score, everything about it was pure cinematic magic. I heard they might bring it back to theaters for its 10 year anniversary, and if that happens, I’ll be there without a doubt! It’s not just a movie; it’s a cinematographic treasure by Christopher Nolan, who in my opinion is the best Movie Director of this era. If you get the chance to see it on the big screen, don’t miss it!
@@cloudwatcher608 It took someone with an exceptional perception of Space AND Time (As in 4-dimensional), to come up with the concept of a language that describes past, present and future, and a fantastic movie director to put this into pictures. Absolute Top Tier movie, which requires some level of intellect to actually understand.
@@theeloquentweiner7054 Oh, thanks for the correction. I had figured it must have been but I haven’t heard anyone talk about the source material before. But still in a movie culture of remakes and prequels and sequels it was a breath of fresh air
Amazing reaction liala as always. I love this film Christopher Nolan is my favorite film director ever. His films always make me feel like im part in it. Love you hopefully you are doing amazing 🫶🏻❤️🫶🏻
I have seen this movie three times and every time after the end of the movie, I only think about how to enjoy every single moment of our life in any situation and anywhere, Life is short, let's not pity it by worrying about worthless issues
Imagine if Cooper ran off to pursue Brand, and died without ever coming back. - The whole movie would be about a child's anger, acceptance, and finally forgiveness.
Lovely reaction, one thing to tell your editor: for most people who watch reactions, we come to see you and your reactions, not the movie. Every time the edit cuts to the movie without you, all we can think is "what's her reaction to this?!?" because we've all seen the movie.
While the science in this film is cool, I think it distracts some people from the core of what this movie is about. For me Brand's line sums it all up, "Love is the one thing we're capable of perceiving that transcends dimensions of time and space. Maybe we should trust that, even if we can't understand it." For me, this film is about our connections transcending scientific understanding.
I saw this in Imax when it came out. I consider it the most enjoyment I've ever had watching a movie, in my whole life. A very good movie.....in Imax it's extraordinary.
It always bothered me that they didn't bother to even TRY to look for Doyle after they were hit by the wave. I mean they didn't even peek out the door to see if they could see him. I understand that the wave hit with a bone crushing force, but they were stuck there for a long while afterwards anyway. And they weren't doing anything but yelling at each other, when they could've at least rolled down the window and give his name a shout. It couldn't have hurt.
Excellent reaction, Liala. The film blows me awao this day. Writing, directing, acting, and a stellar production design and crew all on board for the same goal of creating a brilliant work for the cinema. I still forget that Timothy Chalamet is the son. First thing I saw him in, I believe.
It really sucks that YT is treating you so harshly. They need to chill TF out. Your Green Mile reaction was great. I also loved your reaction to Interstellar. Keep up the 'stellar' work, Liala! 😆🙂
Oops, I did not realize that I was not subbed to you. But I'm GLAD that I wasn't subbed, because that means I can sub NOW to help you get to 50k. 😊 Congrats!
You should next react to "Arrival". Sci-Fi Alien first encounter story. No lasers, attacks, totally a discovery WTF that makes you think about life movie. Great acting, effects and more great music like Interstellar.
It's a thought provoking movie. Other dimensional concepts always confuse and intrigue me. Maybe I let myself get so wrapped up in the concepts of the physics of all these things that I didn't get around to the emotional aspect of it. That's why I'm here watching this now. Show me what I missed, umm... please.
They gotta go back to that water planet and find a way to make bases or air stations or something. You could send all the people with cancer and terminal illnesses there and they just wait a few hours for hundreds of years to pass on Earth or however long it takes to discover cures for the diseases - then fly them back.
This movie... hits the feels hard. No matter how many times you see it. I do miss the dialog where Cooper revives TARS and he says "Self destruct..." change the humour setting... Your no fun.
Great movie, one of the best I’ve ever seen. Good reaction, not great. You edited out too many important scenes! A longer reaction with more poignant scenes is way better than a cut down quicker reaction.
You're one of my favorite reaction producers but you really left out some important parts of this on YT, which is disappointing. I get it, though. Patreon and all.
What was your highlight of this movie?✨
