Sykkuno is a very underrated detective.
I agree, however if Sykkuno likes the murderer too much, he doesn't say much or anything. That really hinders his detective play. :D
It’s because he’s more known for his optimism and innocence
He is one of the smartest out of anyone hes ever streamed with. I think codemiko and ludwig and toast are all smart in different ways. But he can so easily positevly or negatively influence things in a way that when he does it people think hes dumb or a troll but that later understand what he did. He always compliments others and tells them they did good and shares with them. He never compares himself and if he does it is only for their sake to feel like he isnt that much better. The way he hacks in gta. Hes not anxious. He doesnt have to constantly repeat numbers and scramble. He doesnt even stress anymore. He will let the others fail 2 times and take the last attempt which adds the stress of knowing 0 mistakes are acceptable. Have you seen valk try and get timed out before writing a single letter on the first word. Its really his outlook on life that shows his wisdom. He understands a negative perspective and getting mad when things dont go his way, is less enjoyable then expecting nothing but positively participating in everything no matter what starts to happen even if he loses the game. He has more fun losing than others do winning.
Can we just appreciate that sykkuno is the only one in this lobby that actually trusts toast because its becoming painful to watch crewmates vote toast soley cause hes a big brain player. Props to toast cause i wouldve been yelling at brodin cause he made such an illogical decison JGFKGCKJG.

They play for fun and for content, I don’t think they take it too seriously. Sykkuno is genuinely entertaining. He’s not competitive but also with his happy go lucky playful style he is extremely under-estimated. Make no mistake he is one of the sharpest people in that lobby.
It's also because his logics at this game is always on point, you could see it when watching his streams, he usually would just uploads his funny games on YT.
Sykkuno's an S-tier at the game, but he just does not want to play a game that seems boring to him, he'd quit right away, and he said it that always winning, doing the tasks, are the most boring things he'd want to avoid exactly because "there's no fun in seeing the Victory screen knowing that you all just played the game doing tasks". That's why you'd often see him giving the impostors the slipd and would clog his comms with funny punchlines.
And he has this bigbrain tactics and good deduction skills. His win rate as impostor is actually higher than Toast tho Im not that updated if it still is.

I love how toast gives ten reasons why it's Edison, the whole game he's been sus'd, the person he was paired with was confirmed impostor, he never did keys, he lied about toasts location, yet all Edison had to do was say he saw toast kill, and it wasn't even convincing. I think even if someone is known for being good at the game, you should still vote based off the facts they give rather than your gut.
Brodin reminds me of those people with public lobby mindsets it's quite irritating tbh..... This is why I haven't been playing much either too
The thing is, Toast didn't say anything when Edison said he's in the left side, so Brodin thought that Toast changed the story in the last minute

He voted based on the facts that someone else told Toast's route, which was a lie, but Toast didn't deflect. So when Toast actually told them his pathing, Brodin sused him for changing the story. To which, again, Toast did not deflect. Sure, Toast gave him a lot of information, but Brodin work with the information that from his perspective was true because Toast never spoke up about it being a lie/mistaken.

If the main reason why they vote for toast is because toast did big brain people and used his influence as impostor it means that they let their biases control their votes instead of using logic and actual informations and evidences in the game. Toast is not the only person who does that. Edison is also a really great player and really good at influencing, manipulating, framing, lying and deceiving people. Edison did that countless times too as impostor, not only toast. So ofc it sucks when people use that reasoning towards toast when literally everyone in the world as impostor definitely do what he usually does as impostor. It sucks because it feels like he can't have a fair game just because he is famously very good at the game whether he is crewmate or impostor even though he always gives people chances.

People always go against him just because he is a good player even though all logic and facts support him. Because people are too scared of losing to him, of getting big brained by him.

it's weird, but you don't really get an appreciation of how good sykkuno actually is until you watch him play from the perspective of another player.
The problem was Toast didn’t refute Edison’s story about Toast going left and up. Since Toast didn’t refute it Brodin took it as fact and then thought he changed his story afterwards.
there were way too many other factors. that one story didn't mean shit compared to everything else
yeah. he didnt refute it in the previous round, making it seem like toast last minute changed his story and people tend to remember new info better. so even though there was sus on edison since literally round 1, i think that's what mainly got toast killed. but it's such a shame. it would've been better content to possibly have sykkuno catching 2 imps early game and if it was terribly wrong, that's hilarious too
It is not the problem. Toast didn't hear that Edison made up a story that's why he did not refute. When he was pointed that he was in the left too, he said he's not, and Brodin jumped on him changing the story which is completely unfair. That is a bs evidence too, and Brodin just threw game just because of a dmb logic. Sykkuno has a more better and concrete evidence with Edison finding him randomly in the dark, and he just did not listen.
@@airwaters I don't think there's anything unfair about it. If Toast didn't hear what Edison said, that's on him. As much as Toast's logic made sense, it's something he's good at coming up with as an impostor, and he was essentially caught in a lie. One would have to give Toast the benefit of the doubt for that in a 50/50, and that doesn't make much sense. Now, Edison was already super sus so it's not as if Toast was the obvious choice, at least for me.

I mean edison clearly jumped to "I did keys round 2" as a last second counter to Toast who debunked the lie immediately, and he had the whole part about camping keys with sykkuno first round, sykkuno being susp of him and being right on leslie, and Toast clearly led them to ship to check if he did keys and was running about the button to get them to call a meeting. No imposter would fabricate a story that elaborate. That's what happens when you're that good at the game, nobody ever trusts you when you're playing well.
I think the worst part is that they're so paranoid that they rather rob their friend of a video when on many instances Toast finds out an imposter 1-2 rounds in and stays quiet so that his friend can have a video/fun time.

Sykkuno, on the other hand, gave a concrete evidence, with Edison finding him on a random place in the dark, and he didn't listen or even remember it. Toast said Edison skipped keys, and he didn't listen to it. What he listened to, is his gut feeling and left side story, with no logic in it. He has no actual evidence to believe in.
Its kinda sad how people have so many trust issues with Toast LMAOOO. Even when he has a full story they still think he's playing mind games.

But edison made up that story and toast did nothing to correct him. He could have easily said that he was in decontamination, but he said nothing that entire time.
Toast is definitely to blame there... Edison made up the story in the previous round and toast just remained silent and didn't even bother refuting it meaning brodin has no reason to believe that Edison is lying. Although toast refuting Edison then would have possibly further complicated matters for brodin if Toast wasn't convincing enough from the very beginning and generally when people are conflicted, their logic doesn't function well and their inner beliefs come into play. Toast is known to be a very good player so toast would almost always lose in that situation regardless of evidence.

And this is why Brodin did a horrible job. Edison denied Sykkuno sussed him, and makes a big deal of Toast not doing tasks. 1 was obviously wrong, in fact there was a whole thing where he claimed he knew the imposters (and was right), and add to that, that Toast is known for not doing tasks, and you got 2 very easy reasons to vote him out.
Honestly when someone hard susses someone, 1 it's easy for everyone to remember, and on top of that, the person who is being sussed, will never forget. So it was such obvious BS.

Deathsleet already answered why Edison won, but Toast also won something in this game, he won the trust of the players in the lobbies. The "last" game was actually not the last for their stream, it was somewhere above the first few games in the stream. The game where Sykkuno said "You finally won in a 50/50 Toast!" was in the last 2 hours of their stream, ever since then, Toast finally managed to break the cursed of his 50/50s (with Sykkuno's help ofc)

This is true. It would help to actually share said evidence with the class though.
In the end we know Toast luckily doesn't try all too hard. He usually knows what's going on. Just having that knowledge is fulfilling enough, and winning constantly off of similar methods can get repetitive.
Toast himself knows about this problem. He said before that people fear getting outplayed way more than voting wrong because they're stupid. That is why it's actually quite common for imposters to leave Toast for a 50/50 situation, knowing he doesn't usually tryhard and won't immediately vote them off even if he knows. Forcing the one innocent into thinking "It could be a really big brain play by Toast". It's a good strategy for imposters to use against him and we just have to accept that.

I think he's in quite a good spot - now he doesn't die first/early as much as earlier, for the impostors let him live for the 50/50 or they already know he rarely calls them out now even if he already identifies the impostor(s).
Its still better than getting killed first round.
Understand that it's only solid proof from toast's point of view, if you look at it from the others it's not as certain. Your only confident in what toast says because you've seen 100% of toast's movement.

There are a lot of highlights where they trust him and either win or lose because of it, so it's to be expected.
edison is always 1 of 3 things:
1) impostor.
2) the person who is killed first.
3) left alive so he automatically gets accused.
Maaann I salute toast for being this calm and patient in these situations. If it was me in his situation I would just definitely tilt and say just kill me.

To be fair he only got sus of him due to the story. Edison mentioned Toast going left with them, but Toast didn't realize until Brodin said something. He looked to be in his own world when Edison threw him into that story and kind of just screwed himself when he said he never went to the left. (Though they could've asked Toast where he was instead of relying on someone else's word)

Toast denying Edison's story could have helped, but Brodin had no reason to trust that story over the rest of the evidence given. Really what it boiled down to is fear. When stuck in a 50/50 situation with complete uncertainty, people WILL vote Toast over the imposter, that is because they fear being outplayed way more than voting stupidly. That is why Brodin would fall back to the thinking that everything Toast says as evidence could just be him trying to pull off a really big brain play and vote him off regardless.
