@@altonschannel haha, I guess your humor mostly comes from your honesty. I guess being yourself with showing us that we are not perfect or that being who we are is enough.
Yeah I totally understand how the mic audio isn’t objectively appealing, and I won’t call it ‘good’ either. Though I will warn you that this is already rlly good for wireless earbuds, just from experience. I hope you find a pair with good mic quality! If you do please let me know haha I’m curious
you are the only one doing audio recording check. so thanks!! i though only my buds were horrible at audio recording, guess what we still need a mic for vlogs.
Glad you found it helpful! Earbud microphones are getting better but they are DEFINITELY not good enough for vlogs haha. A proper mic would be much better

I would say yes but I cannot guarantee you that it will fit you. Ear shapes vary a lot. If your ear is not very small (relatively speaking) it should be ok for you
That 100+ hours is an overkill and you pay the price for it by having an enormous case which is just not optimal to carry around. And all that for nothing, because no one needs 100+ hours of battery, unless you are Willy Fogg without a charger.
@@GajeelRedfox but it is a selling point regardless. The case doesn't fit in small pockets but I also dont have to charge it for more than a week at a time.
Thank you for the review! Could you provide more information on the volume output of this model? Is it loud? I'm curious if it's loud enough, as I've noticed that some Xiaomi models tend to have lower volume output compared to other brands.
Sure! Bit lazy to find the exact DB output at the moment but from using it the volume is definitely loud enough. And you’re right, some Xiaomi earbuds like the buds 4 active are less loud than the competition. Thanks for commenting!
I'm considering whether buying Redmi Buds 4 pro, Realme Buds Air 5 pro or this is better. I'll mostly use it for noise canceling, watching videos, and listening to music. I experienced the noise cancellation of Redmi Buds 3 Pro but not the choices I mentioned. And although 3 pro is up to 35db only, 4 pro can go up to 43db, while 5 can go up to 46db and Realme Buds Air 5 pro can go up to 50db. I'm still trying to find which one is better in terms of sound quality, noise cancellation, and low latency. Out of all of them, Realme Buds has the lowest which is 40ms Although I like the form factor of shorter stems, I would buy the one that has better sound quality, noise cancellation, and low latency. What can you say about this?
Honestly my friend, I would say that you know more than I do 😂 My main experience is with the Redmi earbuds leading up to the Redmi Buds 5, (So the Redmi Buds 3 Pro, Redmi Buds 3 and 4 lite, Redmi Buds 4 Active, and now the Redmi Buds 5) and out of all of them, the Redmi Buds 5 is the best, aside from the fact that it does not have a low latency mode and water resistence. However, I can ensure you that the Redmi Buds 5 has excellent sound quality and very good noise cancellation. Latency is not an issue for me but it has not been something I am sensitive to so I don't dare comment on it for now. Either way, thanks for watching and sharing! Hope this helps in some way haha.
I am usually only able to buy and review cheap products or ones that happen to come to me, sometimes I even borrow. I never know what I'll review next haha. It may happen, it may not. I appreciate the request though! I'll keep my eye out for them 😊
Yes you can in the app, actually you can set pretty much anything in the app. So the first thing I disabled the in ear sensor so music continues when I take it out
Thanks for watching 🤩. Unfortunately I don’t know the differences between them aside from the basic specs listed on the website. I’ve never tried the Redmi Buds 4 Pro before.
Redmi buds 5 cost 50usd, in my country now you can buy Redmi buds 5 pro for like 55/60usd In the premiere offer. I bought mine for something around 56$ so if you can find them in this price I would recommend it
hi! i know this is late lol but did u got the buds 5? or the r50i's? if ever u got the buds 5, is it good? i currently have the r50i but i'm planning to upgrade since i really want to try the anc :')
Very Good Review, and I agree with regards to the sound quality, which is really nice given the price of these earbuds. I am surprised however, that despite being at a budget price point, there is no declared ipx rating. That is currently not the only concern potential buyers may have. More importantly for many, is that there is a lack of a Gaming Mode, unfotunately. The latency is too high, even for online videos, particularly noticeable on a larger screen than a mobile phone. Otherwise, great for listening to music, in my opinion.
Thank you! And I agree with you completely. I actually forgot about the lack of a gaming mode, good point there. These seem to be more focused on sound and noise cancellation.
I was strongly thinking about buying buds 5, but I didnt realize that it hasnt any water resistance. Well, I dont intend to jump in the water using it, but sometimes I'm under a light Rain, or even sweating a lot, etc, so I was expecting at least a minimum resistance. Now I don't know what to do hahahha. Maybe qcy ht05, anker p2 mini or p20i...
Well it’s hard to say my friend. Usually transparent plastic turn yellowish more easily, these shouldn’t have much of a problem in a few years. Even if it does turn yellow it will some time haha

Does its glossy surface on the inside makes it difficult to stay in your ear properly while working out when there is sweat i your ear?

A question, does it have a low latency mode? How do i put that on?

Maybe if I have time 🥲

Should I get this instead of the Buds 6 Lite? I'm getting torn between both of them since you give a good review about the 6 Lite. HAHAHAHA thank you

Would you recommend the jbl tws wave 100 over the mi buds 5?
Baseus ma10 has everything this has but with the addition of an ipx6 rating and a 100+ hours of case use and lastly customisable eq.

So which one you bought.
I am also looking for a better ANC.

Xiaomi Redmi Buds 5 or QCY HT05
Its actually water resistant and had an ipx4 rating . So water and no dust
Thanks for pointing that out!
out of all the redmi earbuds you owned, can you rank them from best to worst? I am considering buying a new one since I lost my buds 3 lite yesterday
Beat is Redmi Buds 5, then Buds 3 Lite, Buds 4 Active and Buds 3 Pro. Merry Christmas!

Para música, que se escuche clara y haya equilibrio en los sonidos, entre redmi buds 5 y realme t310 cuál crees es mejor?
Ah sorry, I’m not too familiar with realme products
@altonschannel ok, gracias por responder :)
How is the latency
mostly for videos and films many a bit of gaming
There is a bit but it’s okay. I’m sure the low latency mode reduces the latency by a bit as well.
What do you think of their volume? Had the buds 3 pro and found them to be too quiet in some situations
These I found to be a bit loud sometimes haha. Volume is no problem
Can we use these earbuds without those silicon tips,i have some wired headphones at home that have those, and they fall out of my ear easily.
I’m not sure if that’s a good idea. The best option is to try all the silicone tips in the box and see if the smaller one fits
Or if the bigger one fits
Can be paird with a watch huawei gt4 and a phone at the same time?
Yes, they have dual device pairing
what about the pro version is the mic better?
I don’t have the pro version
Do they turn yellowish? I just bought the same ones today and I am a bit worried
That is a wonderful question
What about the sound dealy in games (bgmi) After connecting the redmi devices ?
It will be there in every Bluetooth headsets
