If you are liking this series, there's still 2 MORE episodes to go for this season. Tune in next Saturday at this time (9-9-23 | 8PM EST) to catch EPISODE 4 on Manhunt 2! Followed by the season final on Midnight Club LA the following Saturday!
12:53 By the way, Shop class is glitched in the Xbox version, requiring you to perform the actions BEFORE the prompts appear on the screen. It's much easier in the other versions of the game.
The absolute best of Non-GTA Rockstar games, the memories I have of this game will never go away, one of the first games I ever 100%'d, something I regularly do yearly now, since it's such a short, simple process that's never not fun to do, this game will always, always hold the top spot in my heart behind games like Persona 3, Sly 3, and Steambot Chronicles as games from my childhood I'd rent at Family Video and got me into loving gaming in the first place. Thanks for making this ❤
With how the remasters for the definitive editions of the GTA trilogy were handled, I'd rather they'd never touch any of their other properties, unless they actually fully handle development in-house.
Man I LOVE bully. Such a fun game. Classic art design and sound design. Super corny and fun characters and missions. Timeless setting and cliques. Just a perfect game for what it was trying to be.
I put a lot of time in this game when I had a copy on the Wii. I'd recommend that version to anyone that has a Wii and wants to play the game. I like how the nunchuck controls let you actually throw punches! I have the 360 version now and might dig it out again after watching this video.
I thought Art was the easiest, nice fun little contrast. I don't ever recall geography but I think I would've loved that one. I also don't remember Maths and that would've been my struggle zone.
I'm glad that so many people take joy in this game, but I just really dislike this game. I have a hard time pinpointing what exactly it is the turns me off so much from this game. Most of my criticisms aren't really anything objective the game does, it is more just what I personally seek in a game. It doesn't feel good to control for me, I hate the school theme (I did not go to a regular school so I can't really identify with the usual high school tropes), I find the music grating and repetitive, and I never felt motivation for anything in the game. I simply completed the story for the game because completing the story is just what you do in a game. I didn't have that desire to go out of my way to explore because I found the side content so dull. I did do a fair bit of the side content, but I pretty much had to force myself because I wanted to try to see what people saw in this game. I watched NorthernLion play this a few years ago after I had played it and he was the first person I've ever seen that has been critical of the game. I know a lot of people played this when they were younger, which I did not, so I don't know how much nostalgia plays into the its fond remembrance. So I realize it just may be a me problem, but this is not one of my favorite Rockstar games. It just felt like a GTA game without what makes GTA games fun.
These are all valid and fair criticisms and i can see where you're coming from, but the music? by repetitive do you mean the walk/ fighting themes? since thats what you do the most in this game i assume thats why you think its repetitive. i guess some missions do reuse music but i think the soundtrack is such a masterpiece i couldnt care less. Please let me know whay you mean. Cheers.
@@gadzeuse It is has been a long-ass time so I can't really remember much of the music, but there was a particular song that almost reminded me of the main Harry Potter theme that I felt like made up half of the game. It is possible I would have a different take-away now. My musical preference has definitely shifted drastically over time. I used to only listen to a couple genres of music, but now I tend to not place as much emphasis on genre and just search for music that sounds good to me. A lot of what I listen to is in the power metal, stoner metal, death metal camp, but I've got plenty of rap/hip-hop, jazz, EDM (mostly dark synth, retrowave, and vaporwave), and I've been listening to some funk lately. Only genre I tend to avoid is modern country music (though I enjoy some of the older stuff and like American folk music).
@@DecayingReverie i kinda get why you would think that because the main/walking theme tends to play a lot like the other reply said. but theres a lot of variety in the soundtrack, lots of jazz-funk type stuff, some post-punk, new wave, and generally late 70s-80s-alternative sounding rock, electronic breakbeats and such. bunch of homages to classic songs as well. i think its really well composed and very unique for a game ost. i also didnt play it as a kid so thinking the game is great isnt a nostalgia thing for me. i think you should really give it another shot

Midnight LA is the best in the series

Been waiting for this one since the series was announced. Glad to see it lived up to the hype all these months later
This is genuinely one of the most underrated channels on the whole platform

it's a crime that they haven't done a full remake/remaster of this yet

This is some of the best content on UA-cam right now. Amazing production value too!
imo not just the best non-gta rockstar game but the best rockstar game period

Now we get into classic territory
Best video game soundtrack ever! Best atmosphere. Great story. Easily my favourite game of all time.
