Well, we can tell the leftists in Hollywood are writing these prayers because not once does anybody, to include Mary at home or the pastors, ever end a prayer with, "In the name of Jesus". Prayers have almost no power without Jesus.
1:37 I’m both amused & annoyed at this scene - on one hand I’ve never seen Sheldon shoot out of a seat THAT fast but at the same time is completely disregarding another person’s space, he’s just lucky this scientist wasn’t annoyed by his constant pestering (unlike the poor dude next to him! 😆)
I think film-production should re-shoot this scene where the poor dude next to Professor VanDoornavard(?), stands up out of his seat on the plane, steps into the aisle, grabs Sheldon by the lapels of Sheldon's jacket, roughly man-handles the much lighter weight teenager around & forcibly crams that mouthy & presumptuous teenager into that seat, orders that teenager to remain seated - & marches swiftly on back down the aisle to find an alternative open-seat.
How many young teens would honestly think twice (or at all) before flying out of their seats to meet their hero? It's a little inconsiderate, but entirely age appropriate.
Ian Armitage really gets into the BBT personality a lot more as he ages. I guess he wasn't allowed to watch it cos he was too young before, but now he's really acting like adult Sheldon as played by Jim Parsons.
I was just rewatching the first season 1 of TBBT and it seems there are some continuity errors. In Young Sheldon, he is visiting the University of Heidelberg as a student studying abroad at the age of 13. In season 1 of TBBT (the episode where Sheldon got sick), he mentioned he was 15 years old and was visiting Heidelbeg Institute as a visiting professor. Although one could say Sheldon visited Germany twice in two years and became a professor during that time, the part where "his mom flying back to help his dad" is not exactly adding up for the 15 year old trip (given that George already died at that point). It could add up for the 13 year old trip since tornado did happen at the end of season 6 in Young Sheldon and it caused a really big mess.
It doesn’t have to be exactly accurate but they did highlight that Sheldon did go to Germany and there was a tornado. Which is why his mom came back right away.
So glad Sheldon going to have a blast in Germany. He found another mentor to bounce ideas with. While many forget with his high intelligence. He doesn’t process social behavior very well. While he would normally be nervous on the plane. Finding a scientist he looks up to is distracting him from his otherwise fear of flying. It may have helped him overcome it all together. The gag with Sheldon is the so called normal people find his behavior and nature annoying. Poor passenger he is going to get a lecture on revolutionary string theory all for free. 😝 This relates to how Sheldon can never truly speak his passion which is science with anyone back home unless he is with a college professor. Who are about as socially inept as he is. These y are people who sheldon respects and looks up to. He incorporates their mannerisms and behaviors into himself. Just like he incorporates his parents mannerisms. You know how missy finds people her age or goes to meemaw because she relates to them more. Same scenario but less teen angts.
