Daniel, these were so cool. You’re such an unselfish artist. I love that you share your experiences with the rest of us, so we can all be successful.
Yes, Daniel rocks 👍. Thank you for sharing with us 🙏. I'm having a great time trying your techniques ❤🎉🎉
All I would add is that your amusement at yourself is refreshing and your enthusiasm for the craft is inspiring. I learn something new from every video I watch. 😊
A tip is to not use wood spatulas, they often cause bubbles actually , we stopped using them atmwork totally as they create microbubbles as it is a natural material, plastic that dont breathe is way better
Hi Daniel! No skipping. Watching advertisements. Saved. I’m ready!
Thank you so much Sue, it really helps my channel otherwise UA-cam does not push out our content 🥰🥰🥰x
I love your videos and your perseverance with your experiments, I want to try this, but I am working this weekend, so I will have to wait until next weekend I am hoping it will work with vista's white pigment.
Okay Daniel I am gonna watch this til the end. No click bait allowed plzzzzzzzz! Will be back after to comment again. Drink is ready, bathroom break taken. Let’s Gooooooo!
Awesome job. You figured out the secret of alcohol with the acetone. All the pieces looked great. When I started with resin I was doing pours creating painting. I actually would flick water drops onto some of my pieces at the end for a certain added texture. As long as you don’t stir the water into the resin meaning mixing them up and, it’s not a lot of water the resin will cure fine. And the water will evaporate and leave those craters because the water is heavier than the resin. Sometimes I would wait until the resin was pretty thick and do this also for different effects. Resin is always teaching new things. Of course silicone on resin is interesting too. Thank you for sharing. This was fun.
You are awesome. I have tried a number of your experiments without the success you have. I will keep on trying. Thank you
“Agua” is Spanish for water. Not good for resin. Great hack. Lovely results. Fun experimenting with you.
Absolutely Brilliant! Thank you kindly for taking the time to research and share your findings with us!!!
You are always good for a surprise. Keep testing and sharing dear Daniel! You are amazing! 😊
Thank you! 😃 I sure will 😊 I will have a full vid on the formula by next week 😊
These are way beyond stunning and beautiful. Oh my goodness! They’re breathtaking.
Daniel your an amazing artist and truly care about and want to help everyone. Bravo
Wow! Pure genius. 😊
Gorgeous pieces
The *Translucent* ones are _absolutely GORGEOUS!_ What a *MARVELOUS Pattern on the odd Heart!* Wouldn’t it be Fantastic to be able to use and recreate this unique and entrancing look?! 🤔
Thank you SO MUCH for this Highly Useful video! I’ll 100% be making the sinker! 🤍
@@daniel..cooper Awesome, thank you! It was SO singular and spectacular! You are an inspiration, a gentleman and an artist! 🤍
The most beautiful pennants I've ever seen ! A successful experiment yeah woo !!
Love them. Definitely a game changer
You're always coming up with something new for me to try. Thanks for all of your great ideas! 😊
Great tutorial ! Thank you so much for your experiments3! I like a lot 😊
Very beautiful. Love experiments . Awsome job
They are gorgeous, another great experiment. 😊
Beautiful! I love that first heart
I love the acetone ones, the colours are stunning xx
Thank you for acknowledging that not all of us in other countries can access the full range of products.
And thank you showing us an alternative method. I’m new to resin art and recognise that I’m on a huge learning curve.
Kia Ora from New Zealand 😊
Thanks Libby, very welcome 😊 It really sucks that the same products aren't available everywhere, hopefully once perfected, others can now create great petri art wherever they are 😊😊
Daniel you are a true resin wizard. Thank you so much for this experiment. So true that it creates more ideas to try. You are so curious and will explore ideas in such a way that comes across so well. Pure genius!
Do enjoy your videos, so helpful and inspirational!
Less is definitely more when it comes to this stuff. Love your work. I have a blast watching and learning.
You would be such a grand science teacher. I know all of my students would have been very excited to hear you were gonna be their teacher this semester.
You really have a gift for teaching.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
🤍🗝️🌀🕊️♾️🙏🙇🏻♀️🧚🐉🤍
I guess that’s what I get for watching your videos in reverse order, you already answered questions I put in other videos.
I liked the back of the pendants more than the front on the second ones. thanks for your work, Daniel!
The first heart that you popped out is fantastic!!!
Brilliant, thanks so much for experimenting and sharing your knowledge ❤
These are spectacular. I love the square. That very first one was just wowww.
Hi Daniel great video , with amazing results as always 😍 thanks for sharing ❤ xx
Thank you Daniel for all the techniques you've taught me.
And thanks for doing all the experimenting you do on our behalf!!!🎉
Thank you so much for your videos. I shaped a whole
Shopping trip around your videos today 😂 Your videos are great because you have such a fun personality
Love the sound of the birds in the background!! Those came out beautifully!! Thanks for experimenting with us!!
I never would have thought to use acetone in ink. Finally I might be able to get through all the acetone I’ve accumulated here. ❤ the effects. I’ll be making a lot of this. Thanks again for a mind blowing technique. ❤ it.
Thanks 😊 Yes, the acetone is definitely needed or a similar Ketone alongside the alcohol, as long as they marry without danger 😂
Nice experimenting Daniel, appreciate you developing a tool that is not available to others. ❤great tutorial
Would love a full video. Your ideas are Brillant and I’ve learned so much from watching you. Thank you😊
Daniel I love watching your videos and creating new formulas. They are beautiful pieces you create. Yes I would like to see a video with the new formula for the sinker white.
Some really beautiful colours. I have fallen down the resin hole of awesome videos. I would love to try, but I don't have the space to make them, but I definitely admire others' creativity working with resin. Much respect from Northern Ireland 🍀.
That first heart - WOW!! IN LOVE!! I laughed when you said it reminded you of a marble because that was exactly what I was thinking! Reminded me of my brothers marbles when we were kids playing.
I have been wanting to find a method of making my own Sinker White! You’re awesome my friend ❣️😊😊😊
Awesome result congratulations
Thanks for leading the way
Cheers from 🇦🇺
What an eye opener. Would love an indepth tutorial. Absolutely love your work and experiments.
This is so cool! Thank you for showing this. I cannot seem to find sinker white without it being included in a whole set.
You're so amazing Daniel, the first square is my fave but all of them looks awesome!!!
Absolute game changer, both acetone and acetone alcohol mix have produced beautiful results, thank you.
Welcome to Dr Cooper's Labratory!! I keep saying that this medium is 99% science and I appreciate you doing the experiments and sharing your results! You are the best of the best! Thank you Thank you Thank you!! 💕
Thankyou so much for this informative video. I haven’t tried this technique yet, but I sure will be this week. It’s amazing 👏👏👏👏👍
Daniel, would love a video step by step... This is great information. Thank you
Hi Daniel!! I have to thank you, indeed, we have to thank you because in recent months you have not only shared your "experiments" with us, but you have taught us so many secrets and procedures! I was able to improve and correct many mistakes I made with the petri dish, but that's not all!! Thanks thanks thanks!!!
Sabina
Daniel you are just terrific with all your experimenting. And then figuring out what the problem was with the aqua, you have such a scientific mind. Blow me away is what you are doing. Thank you so much. Awaiting your next video now!! Yes I am impatient!! lol
I’m one of the people who can’t get sinker whites so I really appreciate your experimenting. It’s definitely going to get a game changer for me. Thank you.
Hi, thanks for sharing. Just a FYI: I’m not sure if everyone knows that the alcohol count/% whether it’s 99, 91, or 70 is the amount of alcohol to the amount of water/aqua. So when you use alcohol as an additive, or dilution, or to deduct water from, you have to take an account that you are adding water also. If you were going to add water anyway, add to 70% first to save money and use less water. With resin we all know that water is the enemy, so your best option is 99 or a light misting of 91% because the water will do what it did for him, come to the surface. Never use 70% with any resin product, it will affect finished product ;) Beautiful Results
This is very important info, I have mentioned this in my update video, thank you 😊
Hi ,from Australia Daniel .I haven't been doing resin for that long and have watch thousands of videos I must say you are legend, at all your experiment and the beautiful work you do
You are genious Dan 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I have tried so many things to make my own white alcohol ink but never thought acetone would work 🙈 thats so genious 😍
I purchased all the items which are indorsed with your name ,as I have never seen such great ideas from anyone else in using resin as you have. You always amaze me when you come up with even more amazing ideas and beautiful designs with the Petrie shapes. Great job and congrats for achieving something new and unique once again! I watch every single video right through and often twice. I still don’t get your results though 😂!
Love, love, love it. I thought of when your done, put the stencle back on add glitter or color to resin fill up were the cream was and cure. Now it beautiful !! Just a thought.
Absolutely love this thank you so much for sharing this with you viewers game changer because I cant get the sinker white 🤗🤗🤗
Absolutely LOVING these effects. I would back them with that beautiful metallic powders.
My guess is that the acetone is just breaking down whatever binder is used to hold the pigment particles together. Since it's a resin pigment and resin pigments are often pigment mixed with part A, this makes sense. See if you can find out what the raw pigment/s they used are, and if you can obtain them in their raw forms (probably a powder), and you can probably skip the need for acetone entierly! Might even be able to experiment using your own binders; maybe find one that helps it suspend in the alcohol better.
I don't know anything for sure. But the limited knowledge I have on pigments, chemistry and acetone... It does make sense.
The full Recipe is in my latest video for the 2nd batch ua-cam.com/video/XH5LbSmLve0/v-deo.html
Is there a limit to the pigment/acetone ratio? It seems to me that the more pigment added the less "alcohol ink " needed to make the effect.
Do you mean water?!
