I cant thank you guys enough. Before i started listening to Gurmukh Series, my life was such that i read no Gurbani (not even Waheguru shabad at all) for years. After listening to the series on Bhai Sahib Bhai Randhir Singh Ji, it thouched me to the point that i read 5 banies in the morning and 2 in the evening everyday. Recently i started doing Sukhmani Sahib as well. I am hoping to take Amrit pretty soon, started learning to tie Dumala Sahib already. Thanks a lot 💙💛

Love this series paji, Great sewa for the panth and our youth. Thank you so much for doing this and uploading it for the sangat. Immense respect to you all.
So grateful for this series that inspires so much prem and chao for Guru Sahibs and Gurmukhs. Also there is such a powerful inspiration to lead a Gursikhi Jeevan. “Thank you” is simply not enough to convey ji. ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼
Thank you so much for this episode and providing us with this knowledge of Sant Ji. There are so many key points and beautiful Sakis in this video. Wish we could hear their singing of Kirtan today 💛
The ceremony of Charni lagna stilll happens within the Afghan Sikh Community, I happen to attend one in Guru Nanak Darbar Southall. and the process is exactly how Bhai Jeevnpal Singh has described it. After Ardas and Hukamnama The individual reads Sri Japji Sahib from Sri Guru Granth sahib while Granhi Sahib is next to him in main darbar sahb hall in presence of sangat.
we need more like this all the stores of the saints and gurus really opened my eyes to the truth of this world im going to learn more Punjabi to understand gurbani more for ever learning please keep on going Waheguru ji ki khalsa Waheguru ji ki fateh
Vaheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa Vaheguroo Jee Kee Fateh Jeeo Thank you for the amazing Seva you are doing with the Grace of the Guroo to share Guroo Sahib and Sikhi with the world. In regards to episodes to come in the future, this is my Benti to you: I would love to listen to the thorough contemplation of how to spread Sikhi further globally and universally - in a way that inspires and enables people within every and any culture to practice Sikhi. Knowing my understanding to be extremely limited, it still rings true within conscsiousness that - when we speak about and know Guroo Sahib to be SatGuroo and JagatGuroo, and that it is the duty of a Sikh of Guroo Sahib to inspire others regardless of their wordly origins to Remember Vaheguroo Ik Oankaar Akaal Purakh - this topic needs to be addressed. Including questions like -How de we practice Sikhi in a True way when we live far away from any Gurdvara Sahib and the Sikh Sangat that typically comes there? -How do we float on top of the mud, facing the sun, like the lotus flower - when we are completely surrounded by nothing but he culture of Maya everywhere we go where we are currently based and in the dialy life we have there, without any sanctuary to come to such as a Gurdvara Sahib? -How can we live as an Amridthari and follow the blessed Rehat that is given to Those from Guroo Sahib - when for example every Kakar has to be ordered online or go through long lines of Sangat from far away to three times the cost compared to those who live in India, Surrey Canada or London and Birmingham in the UK + a few other places? -And other questions relevant for Sangat in the periphery to the Punjabi and Sikh hubs, and who may not have the wordly means of travelling to these places much - like marriage, parenting children who also are surrounded by and immersed in Maya not knowing anything about Guroo and Sikhi. It is also my Benti that you try to bring in guests who are practicing Sikhi or living according to Guroo Jees message, while not living within the predominantly Punjabi Sikhi community. Because, surely, it cannot be the case that Guroo Nanak Dev Jee came to the world to tell it that everyone who wants to experience, honor, express and merge with The Divine, must relocate to a place where there is a Gurdvara and mostly Punjabi Sangat, who go to India on a regular basis to bring back the necessary clothes and items for their lifestyle as Guroo Jees student? Please forgive me if I have said anything to offend or hurt anyone. It was truly not my intention. If I am looking at these topics in the wrong way, please guide me towards Truth, as I am only a child and lacking both wisdom and virtues. Guroo Jees blessing Anoop Kaur Northern Norway
Vaheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa Vaheguroo Jee Kee Fateh Nice questions. Bhai Jivanpal Singh (I believe the one sitting left to bhai Resham Singh) mentioned that there are different forms of sangat. Modern examples are phone, television, computer and many many other things. The question is are you using them in a gurmat way or a manmat way? If you are using your phone to just watch some random reels on instagram for a couple of hours then surely that would be considered a waste of time to the guru. However, if you use them to listen to keertan, path, and simran that the benefit there is great indeed. 2. As for the second question I must say before answering you are a great poet lol. But back to the topic, I am just a moorakh who barely understands much of what the gurus teach but if you are surrounded by a culture of maya you need to fall in love with Vahiguru. How to do that? Simran. No other easy way out of it. The Mahapurakhs are beyond our spiritual states because they are absorbed in simran of Vahiguru. That is why they have no attachment to Maya. Also be aware of what you look at with your eyes and what you hear with your ears. Like Dhan Sri guru Amardas ji Maharaj says in Anand sahib on 36th pauri that your eyes should only see the lord. 3. Ahh well I'm not an amritdhari so I wouldn't know about this but what I do know is that some sikhs don't even care if the price is more/less. They'd just want to follow the Rehat because that is the most important thing to them. As for the parenting part I had heard bhai Harman Singh ji said a few words for that. He said that when a child is growing up you should teach them JapJi Sahib even before learning the ABC's. I even heard some mahapurakh saying that a pregnant women should read sukhmani sahib for the whole 9 months she is pregnant so that the kid may become a sikh. Of course it's not like you have to relocate to where a gurdwara is or anything but Sadhsangat is such an important element for spirtuality and normally they are in the gurdwara but in the early morning.
@@SK-bi7ds Gurfateh Jee Thank you for your response, I highly appreciate your attempt to try to answer the questions I shared. This is my response to what SK has written in order to further clarify what I am getting at and the need for online Sangat support in solving the particular issues that the more periphere/isolated Sikh Sangat is facing on the Path of Sikhi; Gurdvara Sadh Sangat; Yes, there are so many blessings and gems to be received from Sangat via technology - internet and phones, as you mention. And also from reading books. But there are also some key elements that are still missing in the tech dependent Sangat that you would otherwise get from physical Sangat connected to a Gurdvara - like doing Seva Simran Kirtan together as well as other events face to face talk and support, and all the other benefits that comes from true and loving human interaction. The internet and phone are amazing inventions, but I do not think that they can ever be an equal substitute for physical human connection. So, when the advice and reminder of the importance of sitting in physical Sadh Sangat with GurSikhs - how are those of us who do not have a Gurdvara and the Sadh Sangat that we may find there to apply this advice? Surrounded by Maya; I am definitely not a poet of any sort. Guroo Jee is the poet, and I am just lending Maharaj Jees words. As a matter of fact, in reality I am nothing. If I give the impression of having something of value, it is all through the Grace of the Guroo, of God. Thank you for telling me about falling in love with Vaheguroo Jee. Through Simran. Yes, it is truly the only way. And yes, it is not easy. When you talk about the Mahapurakhs, however, my mind again goes back to arguments such as that they in fact seemed to not be completely surrounded by Maya, but that they had GurSikh Sangat to go to, Gurdvare with everything going on there, and so on. So then it becomes a circle argument in my mind. On the other hand, Guroo Nanak, from what I understand seem to not have had access to physical Sadh Sangat, at least some of the time, and actually quite to the contrary Guroo Jee faced severe opposition and hostility when sharing Shabad and Truth with the world. Some of the Bhagats come to mind in a similar way also. So there is inspiration and encouragement to take from that. But, it still would be amazing to see some modern real life examples of GurSikhs of today who walk this beautiful Path while not having Gurdvare connected Sadh Sangat or any other Oneness Sangat to go to in daily life, or hardly ever for that sake. How do they actually practice Sikhi under such circumstances? Just try to imagine how difficult it must be, and thus the need for encouragement and inspiration from somewhere. KakarISikhi items difficulties; Please forgive me for not explaining this well. These difficulties are not just about the cost in money, but in general that it is incredibly time- and energy consuming, as well as costly, and even nowithout any guarantee that we are able to get a hold of the right size and quality of the Kakars when being dependent on ordering online or through Sangat from afar. And added to this is learning to tie Dastar without anyone to help out when we cannot figure out from watching the video, what do with Kirpan when working out, what do I even wear for work outs as an Amridthari Kaur with Kachere - there are so many things to figure out when you were completely unfamiliar with it coming into SIkhi. There has been countless occations where the strain and efforts with this has literally disabled me in liviging normal daily life, i.e carrying out duties, taking care of family members, and so on. And thus in that way not being able to live according to Dharam. Raising children; The example from Bhai Harman Singh Jee is absolutely beautiful. However, it is equally unrealistic for some of us coming into Sikhi from a completely non-Sikhi related background. My daughter was 9 when Guroo Sahib took my hands, and just the mere sight of my Dastar would cause her to keep her distance from me for a period of time. Being absorbed in the Maya culture - which seems to be the only culture around here all together - she is still absolutely uninterested in anything related to Sikhi, which remains something vastly foreign to her. All of this being said, through the Grace of the Guroo and God, Sikhi still remains the Absolute Truth for me - it is simply a fact, nothing to do about that. And I also know that Guroo - Gods eternal wisdom, and Naam - Oneness consciousness and living, is not restricted to only those who are able to live like the Punjabi originated Sangat connected to the Gurdvare. It would just be very nice to see some examples from, on an external level, different looking Sangat. Please forgive me for all the severe faults in my perception, and in what I have written. I am completely lacking wisdom and true knowledge.
I've one request jee, please also do podcast on 1) Lost traditions of Sri Darbar Sahib (like daas heard in Sri Gur Panth Prakash Katha that Basant Raag Aarambh Ardas used to happen at Baba Gurbakhsh Singh Jee's Bunga and not inside darbar sahib, but unfortunately that bunga has turned into small room and no sangat visits there. Thank you for your response, I highly appreciate your attempt to try to answer the questions I shared.
This is my response to what SK has written in order to further clarify what I am getting at and the need for online Sangat support in solving the particular issues that the more periphere/isolated Sikh Sangat is facing on the Path of Sikhi;
Gurdvara Sadh Sangat;
Yes, there are so many blessings and gems to be received from Sangat via technology - internet and phones, as you mention.
