An American/Canadian telling about a Brisbane icon
Thanks for watching. It’s actually a text to speech generated voiceover. I wanted to test releasing a video with a voiceover and see how well it did. If it did well I would invest in a mic to record them myself. Queens Wharf is definitely is having an impact on the skyline. Hopefully it becomes a city icon in the future.
Why is there an American voice-over? Give this video an Australian character by having someone who has an Australian accent, at the very least.
Point noted. I have used the voice in the last 3 videos to test if it improved watch time with the videos and justify purchasing a microphone to do it myself in the future. Thanks for watching.
Forgetting about the accent, did you find the video better with the voiceover?
Copied Queens Wharf in Wellington NZ!!!!!!!
Brisbane (1825) predates Wellington (1839). Brisbane was declared the capital of the newly separated colony of ‘Queensland’ in 1859, named in honour of Queen Victoria. The Brisbane CBD streets were named after Queen Victoria and her family (House of Hanover) in 1842. The main street is ‘Queen’ Street. The first bridge was the Victoria bridge. Brisbane’s Queens wharf dates from this time as the first dock for ships, and steamers to Ipswich. Btw. The new casino complex actually looks more like Marina Bay in Singapore. It looks nothing like Wellington’s Queens Wharf.
Wonder where they've kicked the homeless that yses to live there
Of the 20 videos to use "Shadwan" so far, this one has the best connection of video progression to the song progression. Really nice to see that - thanks for including me!
Is that your voice?
@@DroneKingsInDarwinThere's someone listed in the credits I've not heard of...I'm just in the Thematic audio library, and people search for the types of songs they want, and then they include them. I only find out about these videos by Google searches for Restless Mosaic.
Ahh sorry yes. The music. Sorry been a busy few days. It’s a great piece. Works well with the narration. Did you pick up that the narration was TTS?
@@DroneKingsInDarwinI didn't - it was smooth! I did wonder why an American was narrating Australian construction but hey, global society and all that. :-)
@@DroneKingsInDarwin It wouldn't suprise me if MYER eventually moved in
