the school in the movie is Whittier elementary school on W Park Ave which runs parallel to Roosevelt road one block south. The school is in between Main Street and Wheaton Ave. It looks like most of the filming was done on W Park Ave.
This is incorrect, the filming is on Willow Ave just east of President St and the school is Lowell Elementary. Lowell used to have an additional 2 story building which is what you see in the video. The only reason I’m certain is until 2 years ago I lived in the white house you can see at 2:09 and the houses down the block are pretty much exactly the same, including the white house the video is filmed at. You can see in the distance beyond my old house where the road splits off into Blanchard. I have no idea who filmed this but you can imagine my surprise when I found this video a few years ago randomly as I was sitting in the same exact house captured in the video. I didn’t grow up in Wheaton so seeing my house and neighborhood 65 years ago was wild!
