Daxton and Paisley have been so EXCITED to share with you what their new room looks like! As is always the case in bedrooms, the bedding sets the tone for the rest of the decorating.
I found this bedding company online several months ago, and ordered their bedding. The fact that the entire bedding goes on just as easy as a fitted sheet, that wasn't the coolest part! It was that this bedding has ZIPPERS! Not only do I not worry about the kids kicking off their covers and catching a cold in the night, but they can make their own beds in the mornings in less than 10 seconds! Keep in mind that Daxton is age 6, and Paisley is age 4!
This all-in-one bedding set includes two side zippers, fitted sheet, cuddle blanket, comforter, pillow case, and pillow sham all for only $249! {All of my old bedding has come from Pottery Barn, and I can honestly say that I’ve spent close to that for just the comforter and sheets alone.}
For the room, the next thing we did was add board and batten half way up the walls, and painted them white. We then painted the upper part of the room with a color called "Sea Salt" from Sherwin Williams. Daxton's bed frame is from Wayfair.com, his "Game On" zippered bedding from Beddys.com, and his adorable denim rug was from RugsUSA.com.
Paisley's bed was one we had built in, to make the most use of the cubby space in their room. Her "Retro Ruby" zippered bedding is from Beddys.com.
My best friend Jenny from ShowMeCute { / showmecute } helped me decorate the room, sew the pillows, and paint emblems and signs, and make Dax's pendant and Paisley's window swag { • Fabric Banner DIY | Sh... }.
Daxton's bed was from Wayfair.com, and the "Game On" bedding is from Beddys.

Guys seriously chill they share the room just like how people share room with their brother and sisters all the time . The only difference is she just put her bed over there that doesn't mean that's where she stays 24/7 that's just where she sleeps. If anything she's so lucky to have that area usually when people share rooms with their siblings they don't get to have a little area to themselves

Natalie I shared a room with my brother till I was like 7 and I was fine. If we got annoyed by each other we would just go somewhere else in the house. Some people like sharing their room with their sibling. 🤷♀️

I don't know why people are complaining about paisleys small room, growing up I shared a room with my parents and brother, all I had was the bottom bunk
I grew up sharing a room with my twin brother till we were about 11. I had only my table and bed as my own. I didn't even had a side to call my own. I would really prefer a small and comfy room like paisley's side of the room over a medium size room with a bunch of things that i have to share with my brother.

Technically, Daxton and Paisley share a room so like Paisley probably just sleeps in that little area and then comes out to play in Daxton's area. When you're little, you don't really need a huge room. They probably won't be sharing like that for forever.

Where do the two little kids keep there clothes I saw no storeage. The room is beautiful but where can they keep their clothes and what about when the get older with no girls and boys In the same room. I wish she could of pulled that curtin across to give herself her own room. I love the colors and the bedding awesome.ideas
Shauna Downs I thought about that too, but they're really little. Paisley is smaller so that area Mindy showed is so perfect for her to have a little space. Plus, like the poster mentioned, there is probably another section of the room for clothing and more toys. But the way the design were pulled together just...wow. Just adorable.
Shauna Downs There is a nice sized walk in closet for storage. We just didn't show it. Also the drawer under the bed provides some nice storage for toys. When they get bigger we will separate them to their own rooms....but right now we don't have rooms to give them. We already have the twins sharing and Dax/paisley. So we are all full :)

My friend shares a room with her 14 yr old sister and she's almost 12 and her two brothers share a room and they're 10 & 13
Is it me or is their house unnaturally clean? Do these kids have toys? Play games? The house looks immaculate.
My guess is that when they go to any certain room they clean it like crazy to make it look perfect. A majority of their videos are filmed in a room with small sets for each channel that stays virtually untouched. In their morning routine video Kamri and Rylan's rooms are barley shown but you can kind of tell they are more lived in.
She also pointed out where the kids keep their toys. Daxton's toys are in the locker thing, Paisley's toys are in the drawers beneath her bed.
They do, but everything is very organized and has a place where it belongs. They film most of their videos on a set anyway, but their actual rooms usually look a little bit less perfect, lol!
You are so talented Mindy! You made pillows, a huge love sign that doesn't even look like it was homemade, and that's how talented I think/know you are!

You can also make a loft almost for Paisley, almost like a bunk bed but the top floor is a bed and the bottom is like a loft or a desk/a sitting area almost.
That is so cute and smart to combine both of their personalities and things that they like into one super cute bedroom for the both of them.

My brother and sister are gonna share a room, because i'm getting older and I need my personal space and my brother and sister are closer in age then my sister so the theme would work out. But my two siblings are gonna share a room, and my mom and I are in charge of making everything perfect and making it work out. The room is pretty small, and their opposite genders, so it'll be hard because they like different things and different colors. Mindy if you're reading this, do you have any suggestions? Or if anyone that understands this situation do you have any suggestions at all? It would help out my mom and I! :) oh and by the way I love the bedroom, and Daxton and Sweet Pea are adorable! :)

It would be really cool if you could like put up a curtain in the middle of the room to separate both sides. So your brother would get one side and your sister would get the other. It would probably help a lot when they are older so they feel more comfortable! :)

I live in the same area they do and my bedsheets are thin as well! It's hot here, and you don't need much. In the winter you can just throw on a thicker blanket and you'll be good to go!
I have a Beddys bed set and let me tell you, the fabric underneath the top layer traps the heat, which keeps you very cozy.
