I’ve had it since I was teen lil sis and I’m 30 now. It’s really hard but there are a lot of options now then it was back in the day. You are still beautiful. Just have to find styles that work with what you’ve got. And preserve it as much as you can. Hair thins as you get older in general.

@@abigailanderson9913 Yes. My dermatologist did a scalp biopsy and that’s what the report said. Didn’t even know there was such a type of alopecia. I started getting kenalog shots in Feb every 4 weeks and I’ve had improvement, not how I would like but improvement nevertheless.

My hair looks exactly like that but because my skin is a little lighter it makes me look much more bald. It really takes a lot of my confidence away. I’ve tried EVERYTHING to make it grow back and it just won’t. 😪

Try blow drying the front and top of your hair downward it so less pulling on the edges and grease the scalp right there before blow drying as well!

Really nice job I'm not sure you should be doing this style tbh considering your current hair loss but the style looked real nice. Luckily you have lovely natural hair hopefully it will grow back with time and care. Great edge control I never knew you could get edge control in black. I'm from the UK hopefully I can find it here. It’ll only grow back if the follicles are alive. If the follicles are dead only way to get hair back is through a hair transplant

THANK YOU!!! I tried the beginning to slick down my hair for a drawstring pony. I did a zigzag part because I'm horrible at parting. Plus I wanted a little pizazz. The slick down was wayyyy better than when I do it regularly.

I don’t do my pony tails tight and it’s not a style that I do often so all is good
It’s the wigs and cornrows under the wigs 🤦🏽♀️ she would get great justice out of wearing her natural hair in a fro for 2months.
@@Valley__ it’s the way y’all force everybody to be natural or wear locs. As someone who has traction alopecia, I don’t have the long big Afro to go natural nor do I like dreads or locs.
