"I'd always been afraid of spiders. At that moment, I could only hear one thing - the sound of legs; a million spindly legs... And all of them were within a twenty meter radius of me."
@@neypaz8054 Speaking of which, I've been playing through the remake and it baffles me that they have a remix of Hellero but don't use it for any of the boss (As for the remake it's janky but that kind of jank where you can tell they really loved the source material but definitely not worth 15$)
This is the theme music for Episode 3 Level 1 Robotricks. I don’t know about you, but to me this is a blend of robotic production and military cadence.
ooooOOOO this is a very good rendition of this song!!!!! This, hellero and ESPECIALLY Fish Polka were some of my favourite tracks from this game when I was a kid. :)
Not gonna lie, this piece of music probably inspired similar tracks in, say, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Quake IV, and some WW2 era Call of Duty games. Edit: Anyways, anyone here because Civvie 11's Postal or Descent?
I remember the worst save loop I got into when I was young and I accidentally quicksaved over getting killed by the spinning blade and then it replayed me dying and I couldn't get out of it xD I found it so amusing and fun though even though I knew I screwed myself over.
it's the same MIDIs but played through Windows XP to 7's Roland soundfont. That's how good these songs are that they get enhanced by a better soundfont instead of sounding tinny and empty like doom 1
Why do I always imagine a robotics factory in an Arabian desert whenever I hear this track?
I'm so glad Civvie introduced me to this!
those patrolling robots scared the shit outta me as a kid coupled with this music, good times

When you're dealing with a bunch of Claptrap knockoffs and you're in trouble.
ITS TIME TO TAKE A PISS
We gonna rock out with our cock out.
"Have you been eating Asparagus?"
Hey they're called pisstraps
Yuck! I hope I don't rust
The beginning somewhat reminds me of Banjo-Kazooie for a reason as if we enter a hell version of Rusty Bucket Bay (particularly in the adlib version).
The levels, the enemies, the music... RoTT felt genuinely insane in a way that Doom and Wolf3D didn't.
Like Civvie said, it had CHARACTER
too bad the game is kind of unbalanced, even worse on the Extreme maps
The sadism of some of the hazards and level design really set the tone for the entire game, emblematic of the nature of the Oscurido adversaries.
Finally turning NME into shrapnel was highly satisfying.
I watched civvie11's review of Quake 4. Now I associate this theme with the stroggification scene.
I think this is the theme from the fight with NME (Lovingly nicknamed "Spray" by the DIP, hence the name of the song.)
Sadly not, all the Boss themes are the same. I liked to think that it is its theme.
@@basicallyirrelevant6920 It might be for the NME's level, before the fight. I haven't actually gotten there yet.
NME uses Hellero, like all bosses. Mind you, Hellero fits like a glove for any video game boss, not just ROTT's. It's THAT good

Is it sad that I first most of these tracks in the Doom 2 megawad "Dimensions of Time"?
I feel like I'm defusing a comically large bomb

Oh my lord. Awesome. Music from an old fav done right.

It sounds like industrial as played by an orchestra.
This is David's (Prometheus & Alien Covenant) favorite song.
ROBOTS!
yeah me too, I was busy with a remix myself but I didn't know there was an actual remake going on.
This is the beat my Admech army marches to!
He has already done it, wait till you hear it.
level 5's music on ROTT: The Hunt Begins.
Go Lee!
Yo man!
good one
i'm really nervous/excited about how andrew hulshult is going to rearrange this track...
Original: Alexander Mosolov - "The iron foundry".
Almost certainly.
@@KiljiArslan He says this because Lee Jackson within the last year came out and confirmed the primary influences for many of his tracks.
@@SkrapProduction Cool.
Oh great, first was robots, now it's Nazbols!
@TheBelva85 amen to that.
Where can we get this file from ? This sounds much better than the original MIDIs in the game.

Triad Enforcer: EAT LAND!!!... ey CATCH THIS!! [Throw Grenade]
he says eat lead.
This kinda sounds like a Bal-Sagoth song.
Which one?
I had it all with awe32 sound, but where did the files go? Just love this music, but it doesn't sound right - awe32 right!!!!!
Out of all the versions on UA-cam, this is currently the best sounding, though.
