By necessity Beckman has to be number 1. Red hair pirates are only one ship, no army, one single consolidated crew.
And that crew according to chapter ultimate is impregnable, the only crew of the Yonkos to be talked about.
Besides, Ben Beckman is not a Commander; he's a first mate. Different structure entirely, only strawhats and Roger crew had this structure.

King's race ability to naturally produce fire reminds me a lot of the Mink's Electro. I've wondered if it's connected to devil fruits somehow. Awakened logia can permanently effect the environment... But what if they can also influence other people's genetics? Who knows, maybe there could be a step above awakening. And a master of their logia fruit can gift another with an innate element ability.
I had the same kinda thought. It had me think about how humans’ first real discovery in our world was fire, and so maaaybe, the mera-mera no mi was the first devil fruit? Far fetched but it’s kinda intriguing

The chapters that Sanji and Zoro work together effectively are always 10/10.
Sanji is definitely not using Diable Jambe in his first kick of the chapter, because even though the entire floor is on fire, in that panel there aren't any flames, and only in that panel, which means Oda went out of his way to make sure we noticed it, as a way to point out Sanji being able to injure a Yonkō Commander without using his strongest techniques, otherwise the fights against Shanks and Blackbeard's crews aren't going to be believable, since they're either known or suspected to be even more powerful respectively.
P.s. I guess we should start saying Gōkō now, but it doesn't flow the same way, good thing Kaido is going to die by the end of the arc then, right? That way they'll be 4 once again... although Big Mom might be dead by the end of Elbaf, so who knows...
P.p.s The last dialogue of the chapter gave me chills, because they're right, once this arc ends we'll be in the final stretch, only about 2 arcs before the very end.

Zoro: "Hey, Twirly. Once we conquer this battle..."
Sanji: "Yeah, we're going to catch a glimpse... Of Luffy as King of the Pirates!!"

The thing that always gets me about Kidd is that his DF has the potential to be one of the most broken DF's in the series, if Oda decides to use more of the powers of magnetisn/electromagnetism .
I mean, just in terms if DF's we've already seen, Kidd could replicate a fair number of their effects with his DF, theoretically. Enel using his Goro Goro no mi to extend his range and enhance his observation haki. Kidd could do the same (if his power IS electromagnetism....and if it wasn't, then all that crackling electricity shouldn't really be a thing, honestly. Unless Ofa just thought it was cool. LOL). He could magnetise objects that are not usually magnetic...like, say, an ISLAND, or at least a ship (or 10), and pull a Shiki. He could manipulate the magnetic poles and cause earthquakes like WB....see what I mean?
And then there's all the other crap. Firing railguns/mazer beams (which I found interesting when Big Mom had her homies do that exact thing; if you look up what MAZER is, its an acronym for an ability that fails under the banner of electromagnetism), negating gravity in localised areas (allowing him to nope Fujitoras Df powers out of existence),, create forcefields.....and a whole bunch I haven't mentioned with the upper limit on those kinds of powers being straight up reality warping, opening wormholes and manipulating the building blocks of matter (which obviously Oda won't go anywhere near, but still).
Oda can realistically make his DF Yonko level at any point and it wouldn't even be difficult. It would be more difficult to balance his powers than to make him stronger. And that's why I've always wanted to see more from him. The suffering is real.......and its not even like he's dumb and doesn't understand basic scientific principles in order to take advantage of his DF's capabilities. He straight up made a Faraday Cage on the spot in order to contain Zeus and take him out of the fight. So he at least understands the interactions between conductive metals, magnetism, and electricity.
I'm just hoping for an Awakening. More than any character, I think Kidd would most benefit from one, and would be amazing to see as our first Awakening in the series (since we honestly have never seen one happen; only a few people who already had it).

Based on what we've seen I place Katakuri equal to King, but still place Marco above them both. Just haven't seen King fight enough to say that he's stronger than Katakuri. I feel that people forget how unbelievably impressive Katakuri and his abilities were. Will acknowledge I'm biased by my love for his character in general, but still the man was an absolute powerhouse.

Sanji and Zoro should train with each other, Zoro learning air walk thus covering his weakness when fighting flying enemies and Sanji learning long range attacks like some of Zoros abilities.
I think Onigashima is a bit like Thriller Bark, a "ship". The main ship that Kaido uses, which at the same time, might be a relic of Kaido's tribe (where his tribe lived). And thanks to his DF, Kaido carries it where he wants to set in.
Is it? When kaido took all his commanders out for some raid in the ace flashback, the island was still where it is now. And marco implied its been there since even his last visits though perhaps under a different name.

It's very important to note that Marco's pineapple healing move in Chapter 998 does NOT drain his stamina. Thats the cope people are using. The reality is though, that it uses the *targets* own stamina to heal them. That's how they fought the ice oni virus. The blue fire drains stamina from the one using it to heal themselves. So obviously Marco would be in trouble if he is forced to regenerate constantly from massive damage. He's using the blue flames on himself to do a much higher level of healing than what the samurai got. The fact of the matter is that King is a match for Marco by himself. And to be clear, he was fighting King ONLY for majority of the battle. Queen was there initially but then dipped to troll Chopper for multiple chapters, then fight Sanji for even more chapters. So for a long time it was 1v1.

Oda just rushing things too much. He had a chance to pre develop Sanji in WCI and zoro with a fight in Wano pre Luffy arrival but now its gonna be an asspull. The Sanji that took a big L from doffy or even Vergo (with no development) can now suddenly go toe to toe with queen. G4 Luffy fought 3rd commander cracker for 11 hrs and would have lost if it was not for Cracker being 1 shot defense.
I just try to enjoy the plot nowadays because there is too many inconsistencies in power whenever it comes to strawhats(except Luffy)

You CAN train your King's Haki. What you CANNOT do is obtain it by training. Two very different things.

I'm pretty sure you can train kings haki. If you're referring to what Rayleigh said while training luffy before the timeskip, I think he meant that somebody who doesn't already have it can't learn to unlock it like you can with observation and armaments.

Every Yonkou's Commander group has a name:
Big Mom's Pirates have the Sweet Commanders
Beasts Pirates have the All-Stars
Whitebeard Pirates have the Division Commanders
Blackbeard Pirates have the Ten Titanic Captains
Red Hair Pirates' Commander group name is still unknown but it could and will probably have an unique name too.
What if the Straw Hat Pirates' Commander group will be called Wings and will be composed by Zoro and Sanji? If you really want you could also add Jinbei and Yamato to the group because 4 wings may be too much for a bird but for angels or insects 4 wings are pretty standard. Nevertheless, I don't think Yamato deserves such a role in the crew yet, and I think the Wings name doesn't work with an odd number so it will probably include Zoro and Sanji exclusively.

My only nitpick is that we cut away from most of King vs Marco and Sanji vs Queen. King and Marco disappeared for a few chapters, and like a week or two ago, Sanji and Queen were going at it. Now Marco is exhausted and King is down there with Queen and Sanji. Like, I can connect the dots but ffs I would have liked seeing the transitions
Someone seriously needs to make a compilation of all panels where Queen looks kinda angry. It's Oda's favourite way of drawing him, him just giving an angry look. I wanted to start this myself, but just got distracted, and now more time has passed.

I like the connection between Nika, King, the Red Line and volcanoes. I always remember, almost the first thing we saw after the jump in time were those "strange" lava flows at the bottom of the sea, I always thought it wasn't an accident and that it would be the cause of the destruction of Fishland Island (with the entire population of the island fleeing in a Noah commanded by Nami)
Most people compare Zoro to Rayleigh, but mentally, Sanji seems much more like Rayeligh to me.

King and Queen need to create carnage for many chapters to salvage the beast Pirates showing outside of Kaido this arc. As it currently stands, the Big Mom Pirates seem considerably stronger as a whole.
Queen is beast , he knocked big mom, took many attacks from Marco & sanji , the only thing we need from queen is to destroy sanji in an extreme fight so we can see more from sanji, King didn’t do much the whole arc tbh, he only kicked big moms ship and clashed with sanji and that’s about it so hopefully we see him extreme diff fight vs zoro so we can actually see zoro become stronger after the fight and we can actually respect king.

Killer attacks using sound. Maybe he's got a technique to incapacitate Hawkins without really harming him. Like using sound to disrupt his balance and keep Hawkins immobile. Not sure but I'm really enjoying all Hawkins fights this whole arc he's definitely a hidden treasure of a character

Like 99.9% sure Kings bounty is gonna be revealed to be 1,330,000,000 , queen is 1,320,000,000 , and it mirrors Zoro and Sanjis 320 million and 330 million.
I think it’ll either be 1.657 corresponding to the Tokyo fires, or 1.666 corresponding to the London fires. I can’t remember the UA-cam channel I saw this from, but credit to them. Their reasoning was that queens bounty corresponded to the year of some disease outbreak, so they thought there would be similar significance to King’s bounty.

I don’t think Marco NEEDS to explain anything regarding what Onigashima was called before. I think people put too much stock in that.
It could turn out to be important of course, but it could just as easily be something like no one had ever bothered to name that Island since no one lived there, and it was just “giant skull island” or something. It’s up to Oda, but I honestly doubt we’ll ever go deep about the roots and history of Onigashima (in the main story at least).
Anyone else think that it is possible that Luffy is half of that sun/fire race? Possibly on his mom’s side? It would explain red hawk, it would give him a connection to Ace, and it would tie him to Mariejouis as they pushed his people out of the red line and hunted them down (not that luffy would care about the past that much). Lastly, it would tie Luffy to the sun god Nikka.
I’m not saying I want this necessarily, just that it is a possibility. I wouldn’t have considered it if Oda hadn’t already explored Sanji’s backstory in depth and will most likely explore Zoro’s supposed connection to Wano.

What if Marco chills on the rooftop to see Luffy beating Kaido. So that he puts his trust into Luffy.
So far they are will a big fan but also cause of Ace and WB they protected Luffy.
Now he can see first hand what Luffy is about and then maybe he goes out to pick the rest (maybe defeat Wibel?) and the Straw-Hat Fleet gets new members. Would be epic to see in the final battle the WB-Flag next to Strawhats.
