I’ve seen so many haters say that, they have their sound and formula down to a science and if they change it up people will bitch about that too. Melody is what makes every song sound alike because it tells one long story between all the songs imo

Agreed! Plus sun eater is the song before cursed to die in the tracklist, and they are written to play together like a single song when listened to in order!
One of the best albums of the decade coming up from these guys. Their chemistry is ridiculous. I feel like the people who say all the lorna shore songs sound the same are either not really sitting down and listening or just hating that they have jumped so high on everyone's list so quickly. Another banger can't wait for more to come
This track is magnificent, very talented musicians taking metal to new realms, which is tough; creating extreme metal that is somehow immediately likeable and listenable, and the lyrics are epic, these guys can go far.

With every new song, you ask yourself which direction the song is going, how good will it be? The boys prove every time how damn talented they are and it doesn't matter to worry about it. If you go through each song mentally and realize the song couldn't have been any better. And that's how it was with "Curse To Die" again, pure perfection in my eyes and ears. And that's why I celebrate the band so much, so much diversity...and that's just the beginning.
Los folks show the world what great talent we have, the boys deserve all the glory.
This time the climax was on the song Adam's guitar solo..short but so damn beautiful it was a straight stab to the heart I can't describe it better but so damn good 🖤
This is like literally my current favorite song. Some people are saying it's too the same as other stuff, but this band has given so much since will joined and those people need to give them a break. They've set a high bar for themselves, but I think they know what they should sound like now. Great reaction and obviously I agree that this song was amazing
See and I don’t think they’ve necessarily gone off the same exact algorithm every single time. Sun eater was Epic. Into the earth is by far one of the heaviest things I’ve ever heard in my entire life. This one I would relate to obsession off of the immortal album. Yeahhh. It’s the same formula. But also not really. All songs sound vastly different and this band is omg 🤤

I agree, this was a perfect fit, to break up the stereotype that all Lorna Shore does is nasty breakdowns. Have a more melodic symphonic track throughout with one solid “pre-breakdown”, followed by the well known nasty breakdown we have come to expect. But to highlight your comment Matt, yes I’m glad they didn’t have a second breakdown. It wouldn’t have added anything essential to the track. It reminded me a lot of …And I Return to Nothingness but with a breakdown. ❤️🤘🏻

Their songs all sound different. The people saying they all sound alike perhaps are newer to metal and can't make the distinctions.
Both of you have given such high praise for Will Ramos, Austin on drums and guitars but what about the bassist? Bass players deserve just as much credit as everyone else in a band as they and the drums are a foundation of a band, without both there’s nothing but noise plus lyrics misread in multiple directions, 99.99% out of 100% time it happens. I am a self-taught sing writer/lyricist.

We are all here because we love music and to discuss music and I love these guys (travelling to another country to see them next week) so there is no hate from me at all. I however feel I think I would enjoy this song more than I already do but without the breakdown. The "introduction" to the breakdown is awesome but in my opinion I think it should have stopped there. I feel there is a vibe going through the song and I feel that it is somewhat "forced" in there. It goes so well into the other songs, just maybe not this one.
I like this song but it sounds too much like the last release imo
