Tbh gauss doesn't really need shield mods or arcanes. I just keep my kinetic plating up with molt augmented and some shards to get my gauss to 100% strength for that sweet DR.😊
You can do the same with health. Get energy from his plating and mod, sacrifice emergy for health dmg. You will stay om 2hp. I prefer this over shield, as you also wont die to status effects like Slash or toxin
But this can stop imf dmg, in certain lvl you get oneshoted, even with grace, rage mod, and also a lot of armor, with this build only require two mods and 1 arcane and you are done
@@FamousWF It was probably inconsistent because of battery charge. Both of those mods lower recharge delay by 75%, and cap is 80. AFAIK if you play gauss like he's supposed to you need only one of them.
@@FamousWF it is consitent u gotta keep your battery at 80% red line if it goes below that u can die that never happend if u dont afk thats why u dont use your 2 when doing this cuz it drains every time u take damage

aegis permanently removes recharge delay cap for some reason

just fast deflection is enough u dont need both mods
I did some testing with just one of each mod + aegis and found it worked but wasn’t 100% consistent so that’s why I say do both.
