October 7th: Her Story On This Day And In The Months After

Raz Merhav, an artist from Kibbutz Zikim, found herself under a terrorist attack on October 7th while she was in the kibbutz with her family. Thanks to the emergency squad and the IDF, the terrorists were unable to penetrate the kibbutz. Raz tells us about the events of that day and the months that followed. The evacuation of the entire kibbutz, her recruitment into the reserves, and now, going back to the kibbutz hoping for a better future.

Such a beautiful young lady, with a genuine spirit about herself. I do not know how Israel will ever be able to coexist with those who terrorize and are complicit in such evil… I always felt they were in a much more fortitude secure country, regardless of the proximity. All the wonderful people on both sides have truly lost out on expanding & enriching themselves with one another.
