I understand that the mother is trying to protect her son but at the same time, like what you said, the parents need to literally check before it is suitable to watch instead of ignoring the obvious and telling other people to block you for your choice on cussing. I like the cussing cause it sometimes makes me laugh (i don't know why though). I hope these parents learn how to properlly check before the kid watches the cussing parts.

I am almost 15 and I have watched your channel for a while and sometimes my little cousins like to come over and they want to watch your videos with me and I told them time and time again that you don’t make contact for little kids. I try to tell them that UA-cam kids is a more safer place for them to watch videos.

The worst thing is that children actually watch youtube without company, the boy is too young for staring at a social media alone, they as toddlers do not even understand cartoons and their stories such as for example the mcqueen character grow from Cars 1, they will tend to copy him even though he learned bc its the main character and for children the only important thing on media is colors and movement. Even with company would be wrong since this type of content is unofficial and you cant even tell if will be good or bad for the child. Nowadays mothers give their phones to the toddlers because they hate giving them company or teaching that geting bored is a GOOD thing!! Btw children staring at TV or mobile systems for that long is confirmed by science and even logic to be bad for their health. This is, as you said a UA-cam problem, not your fault and not the Mother's fault, it is UA-cam's fault as you mentioned. They really need to fix their filters and more people need to be educated about the difference between YT and YT Kids. The whole coppa situation didnt only affect creators, it affected viewers as well

I’m am almost a teen and I’ve been watching your videos as a child and I thought the cussing and swearing was really funny (I don’t actually swear in public) but this is actually disgusting how parents treat everything for kids, like the entire cars fanbase is not just 6 year olds, UA-cam already got sued but they should have learned from their mistakes. And also the kid looks 3-2 years old, kids should not be allowed to sit in front of a bright screen for a long time. I listened to my old aunt of “your eyes will hurt if you watch to much” and also the parent basically knows nothing about cars, it just pisses is off that the mom just states the movie “lightning McQueen” probably because she’s never watched it before. My mom has seen the cars movie before I was born because she took her little brother to see it. And he’s an adult now. Also as she said in the TikTok “I just heard swear words there” which means she just left her child there to watch whatever they want. And not even moderating them. Which means the movie doesn’t even care of what the child watches. I’m a big cars fan and it makes me very mad that parents think that teen-adults think it’s for baby’s. Like dude, the movies almost 20 years old. And the adult jokes like the flashing and drug references. And in cars 2, with guns and bombs. The mother should have thought through. Well it doesn't really exist anymore because eventually, parents realised what was actually going on and complained about it so all video related to that were taken down. Now, a logical person would learn from that experience and know that they should monitor what their child watches. But that would be the sensible thing to do, so of course they didn't do it.

There is a feature that you can use where you set your videos to automatically be set as not made for kids when you go to upload them
COPPA was practically the main reason I gave up on UA-cam and moved onto Odyssey instead (they delete your comment if you mention their competitor's name, haha). While I never was hit with it as my videos were just trains, I saw a lot of other creators suffer for this nonsense. Plus, I have a planned animation series in development about talking trains that would dive into mature themes similar to yours, obviously for older railfans and not young kids. Sadly, UA-cam kids is not much better, a similar occurrence happened with Thomas UA-camr DieselD199 when he made a parody video of AEG Thomas saying "Kill the lot of you" and UA-cam flagged it as "For kids." It, too, took off in controversy on TikTok for the same reasons. For some reason UA-cam doesn't understand that algorithm doesn't do its job right and this keeps happening time and time again. I wish they'd manually review what goes on UA-cam Kids for a start to create a safer space for kids. I agree that this is not your fault and parents should monitor what their kid watches. Terribly sorry this has to happen to you. I'd say your safest bet would be to add a text disclaimer at the beginning of every video, despite the description and everything people somehow will always find a way to overlook it.
